Thick plastic. Back one is maybe and inch or two too big.
Overall it fits pretty well on my 2015 corolla. The plastic is heavy and seems durable. I carry kids with my all day so I wanted something that would protect my carpets but be easy to clean up. It’s also asthetically pleasing. My only problem is that the mat for the passenger seats is just a tad too long so it doesn’t lay flush but I’m just happy to have the whole back area covered so that my toddler goblins don’t destroy the carpet.

Fits well
As you can see in the pictures, the mats fit pretty well in my 2025 Corolla. I like that the driver’s mat has the holes for the locks so that it stays in place. The back of the mats are smooth, but it doesn’t move much since it covers the whole space of the floor. I was originally going to get some universal mats (20 to 30 dollars cheaper), but I am glad I got this set since I don’t need to trim it or worry about it moving around.

2016 Corolla S floor mats
Passenger side fits perfect with excellent coverage all around. The back mat is slightly big and requires you to pull the side up slightly to get mat to sit almost flat in the center and on the edges. But because it’s slightly bigger there is great coverage in back too. The Driver’s side seems a little short at the top by the pedals and just barely clips into the factory clips on the floor. It will take some wiggling and adjustment. The texture and rubber of the mat does collect all debris and does clean up well with an all purpose spray and water. Great price compared to factory carpeted mats.
