Uhh… it ok
Works fine for sound but is definitely not heat resistant. Holding a lighter up to it like in the photo will result in the product catching fire and the foam will crumble to dust under a heat gun. So it does work for sound deadening some but I would say is more heat attracting then repelling… BUT ITS CHEEP SOOOO…

El material se ve de buena calidad. Pero la forma en que viene empaquetado no se me hace la correcta. Debido a que viene doblada ocasiona que el material no de adhiera de una forma uniforme a la superficie que quieres aislar. En esta ocasión lo utilice para la parte interior del capo de mi vehículo, se ve bien, pero aun así se puede mejorar la calidad. Aun no se que tan resistente sea el pegamento que contiene. I bought this for the inside of the cowl on my Yamaha 115 2-stroke outboard motor. Good adhesion and easy to trim to fit. Definitely cut back on the noise, especially at operating rpms.

This product came folded contrary to the picture that shows it on a roll- as a result the material was heavily creased and wrinkled- I had to cut back all the edges at least 1/4″because the backing was peeled back and the mat had no adhesion. The material is too thin and I have my doubts that the adhesion will hold this material long term- I had to double layer the mat to get SOME noise reduction – I do not recommend this product – there are better products out there – make sure you get a THICK mat with proper backing adhesion and ON A ROLL .
