Why do you need this product?
-This wire insulation sleeve provides excellent protection for vehicle wiring and piping.
-Our product features outstanding flexibility, allowing it to conform tightly to various pipe configurations.
-The sleeve exhibits exceptional heat-reflective properties, significantly reducing ambient temperatures around protected components.
Excellent Quality: This insulation cover is made of aluminum foil, glass fiber, and polyester. The aluminum foil and glass fiber can maintain structural stability in high-temperature environments and are not prone to melting. The polyester has excellent tensile strength and is less likely to tear
Practical Function: This sleeve can effectively reflect the radiant heat of high-temperature components, keeping the internal wrapped wiring harness from being damaged due to heat. In addition, it can also protect the hose from scratches by sharp objects or slight squeezing
Ideal Size: Our heat shield sleeves come in four diameters of 1/4 inch, 1/2 inch, 3/4 inch, and 1 inch, and their lengths are all 3 feet (1 m). The flexibility of the overlay allows it to be trimmed to the length you desire, facilitating precise control of the coverage area
Easy to Use: This product features a side-entry design, so there is no need to thread the cable harness through the end. Simply slide open the opening and wrap the sleeve around the installed cable from the side. The operation is quick and simple, reducing installation time and removal steps
Widely Applicable: The working temperature of these sleeves ranges from -124°F to 500°F (-60℃ to 260℃). They are suitable for protecting cables, spark plug wires, and hoses. It is widely used in the engine compartments of cars, SUVs, pickup trucks, and motorcycles, providing reliable protection

  1. Teo-Jizzle

Handy thermal wrap. Perfect for small jobs.
This heat shielding is perfect for protecting transmission or fuel lines from sources of excessive heat. This heat reflective wrap will make all the difference between keeping a rubber/synthetic fuel or transmission cooling line operating efficiently and overheating/boiling fuel. I’m not sure exactly how many degrees cooler this wrap keeps my trans cooling lines on my ’01 Honda, but out of necessity a portion of the flexible, braided trans cooling line runs near the exhaust manifold downpipe. This heat wrap keeps the heat off my braided trans cooling line and reflects it back on the downpipe. Before I installed this wrap, I noticed that the nylon braid on my old line hand begun to show signs of melting. I replaced that portion of the trans line, installed this wrap, and have been running cool ever since. Anywhere you need to protect something from excessive heat this wrap will serve you well. Definetly worth the price.

An essential part of my heat management strategies
When building and modifying my cars I always pay attention to any lines near my exhaust. Fuel and brake lines as well as electrical cables all need to have adequate clearances but sometimes you don’t have an alternative routing, so you will need to add some sore of heat protection. This aluminized sleeving is a very convenient solution to adding heat shielding if a line is already installed. It slips on like split wire loom, you then can wrap it tightly around the cable or line as you pull the paper off the adhesive for a tight fit. I do recommend using zip ties at both ends, which are not provided, as well as every few inches, especially along bends. The wrap does come folded in sections, so the final install may not be pretty, but it is effective.
