This ended being a real sleeper hit. I thought at first when I got it that I was going to put it in this little sub-compact car but it’s just too small for that even at it’s furthest extension. So I naturally looked at my truck and thought I just put in a center console that is glossy, epoxy-resinated carbon fiber and this suctioned itself right to it upon just testing it. Then I realized that since I also just installed a lengthener on my stick shift that it allows my elbow to rest on it at the same time I can shift gears with my manual transmission without having to move my arm barely at all and I can go from first to fifth with almost no movement. So I inadvertantly, admittedly so, customized my gear shifting experience in my truck to make it work like a dream. It’s just another example of the way things have been going lately where all of these components seem to come together and make me look like I conceived of it that way all along. But uh, it’s really just making it look that way and really something else is happening but anyway this thing is incredible how it suction cups to the glossy surface without actually using suction cups but it’s some type of gel instead. It leaves no residue, doesn’t need to be primed and stays stuck without sliding around unless you want to slide it around a little and then you can by pushing it real hard from the bottom. Or if you want to remove it completely it will pop off by prying at it and it leaves no stickyness or mess. It went together so fast and worked so good that it left me with more questions than answers so I don’t really know why it’s sticking so well or how it’s physically working but it works really good if you have a glossy center console. My stock center console would have had a type of vinyl/leather material that might not have let this stick to it but a glossy or glassy surface it’s perfect for.

I love this elbow support
I love this product. I have been adjusting my seat height just so that I could comfortably rest my elbow by the window for support during a long drive. It’s an answered prayer when I saw it. It’s an elbow support with three adjustable height settings. You could place it on the supposed elbow support by the door. It has a very comfortable cushion pad on top and a non-slip adhesive pad at the bottom to, somewhat keep the support in place as you open and close the door. Fortunately, the leather top cushion seems to just blend with the door and doesn’t seem to look off putting. The leather is also finely crafted and appears quality. However, there are times when the whole support would fall off especially when I close the door too hard. I could have taken off a star for that. But I realized how unfair it would be to do so. Thinking that placing something like a double sided sticker on top of the pre-existing leather on the car is something I myself would never consider. It’s a good compromise for the comfort it gives. This is a simple solution to a common problem and I’m glad someone made this product.

Not for 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe
The Amazon website said thie would work on my 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe. I definitely does not fit on the armrest, and the sticky pad does not keep holding. The only way it would work is a long trip where I am not getting in and out of the car often and would not have to keep repositioning it all the time. It could easily fall out of the vehicle any time you open the door.
