Great product. Poor mount adhesive (but fixable). 1 month review.
I’ve had this for about a month now, and I absolutely love it. It doesn’t freeze, lag, or auto restart, and it’s sturdy.One thing to note, the mount’s original adhesive did not hold on the dash surface. My dash is textured plastic so that probably doesn’t help either.I tried using a dashboard round pad for smoother contact but that didn’t work either. The pad stuck on the dash surface, but the mount’s original adhesive still didn’t hold.Eventually, I peeled off the original adhesive, cleaned the area with rubbing alcohol, and placed two strips of Scotch 30lb double sided tape. It’s now been a month, and the tape has been holding well – no issues.One more thing, when placing the double sided tape, make sure it’s warm – avoid applying it in cold temperatures as it may not stick properly.

So much to say! It turned our older car into what feels like a new one! Great screen/picture quality, colors, and clarity. Easy to set up. Bluetooth link to all the contacts, music on my iPhone. I hear the sound on my car speakers :). It’s completely hands free and I can just speak commands, like, ‘Siri, get me to directions to a specific place, Go! and End Route.” or “Siri, call … so and so” in my contacts. It mounted beautifully and easily and is very secure. Also love the adjustability of the screen higher or lower, or side to side, to eliminate any glare or make it easier for both my husband and I to see the screen. Good visibility from an angle. It comes with plenty of stick on clips to mange the wire down to the plug in. Pretty easy to learn navigation. Would highly recommend, especially for the price range.

iPhone 17 Pro Carplay turn-by-turn issues
Its bright and clear and connects to Carplay as soon as I start my vehicle, the dual bluetooth feature for audio is definitely my favorite as it removes the lag when changing music of just listening to videos while in my car when its connected to the intellidash the sound is 1 to 1. Its easy to use and setup, you don’t need to replace your current headunit. You just plug into the socket in your car, mount the device, and your ready to go. The screen is a good size and very responsive and the build quality of the device is great. I am not an Android user, but this does support android play as well.Now the issue and this has been an on going issue since I got my iPhone 17 Pro. When using Waze or Google maps for turn-by-turn navigation, the map randomly freezes somewhere and it takes time for it to catch back up. This is my 3rd device and it is still happening. I am not sure if this is an issue with the devices or with iPhone Carplay. But on the plus side the support of this device is awesome. I called the support number and got someone real on the other line who talked to me.Unfortunately there isn’t a fix for this issue just yet. I am starting to think it is Carplay and not the device because again this is the 3rd portable carplay device I bought because of this issue. I had the Carpuride, Krunia, and now this unit to try different brands to see if it will help the issue I have been experiencing. This is by far the best and most responsive of those 3 and I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a portable carplay unit because of the customer support and the device itself being bright, having dual bluetooth audio, and the responsiveness.But the price is kind of high and the issue I am running into with this device and iPhone 17 Pro Carplay still isn’t resolved with this. I thought buying a more expensive unit would help resolve that but it hasn’t and so there are cheaper options that would work just as good as this if you don’t mind the little lag and now cheaper options exist with the dual bluetooth feature as well.

Great CarPlay Display, Substandard Dash Mount
After reading many mixed reviews, I settled on the X10 for my 2012 Maxima. It was more expensive than most of the Chinese made models, so I bought a used like new one for $139. When it arrived, it looked new, so I had no issue with my purchase. One of the things most reviews complained about was the fact that it only had a dashboard mount and no windshield mount. The dashboard mount was not liked by anyone, so I bought a cup holder mount to hold the X10. The instructions were easy to follow and I had it connected to my iPhone’s Bluetooth and car in no time. I used the FM option to connect and it connected quickly and sounded great. I have been using the display for about a week and it has performed great with no issues. The device is very responsive and the 10 inch display looks great. It has really been a great upgrade to my vehicle as I no longer have to use the small display of my iPhone for navigation and music. Adding CarPlay to my old vehicle has made me like the car even more. Overall, I am very satisfied with the display. The display loses one star for having a substandard dashboard mount and not including a windshield mount. The cupholder mount I bought works great and is very functional since this device does not have a dashcam. If you don’t need a dashcam and want a well built device, this display should definitely be on your list.

Very happy with this device!! CarPlay works great – No lagging, immediate touchscreen response and it’s the perfect size. Screen mirroring is a plus!

This thing constantly disconnects while on trips. When it works it’s good, but the amount of times my music cuts out in a single ride drives me crazy.
