I really like this Brushless Cordless Car Buffer. It takes my Dewalt batteries perfectly, and they fit in easily without any fuss. The tool is also well built, and is a great value compared to the OEM DeWalt tool. I’m very pleased with this. Maybe it isn’t a full pro-level tool, but it’s ideal for the household user, hobbyist, or travel trailer owner doing their maintenance. It is really easy to use and has a sturdy feel in the hand. You can easily control the speed, and it isn’t too heavy, although that ultimately depends on the battery size you use. I will say, I like how versatile the handles are (or you can just use it without a handle). The main thing I want to convey to the public here is the pad and backplate (baseplate) size. They are BOTH 5 inches here. Typically, you want your pads to be about 1/2-inch larger than the backing plate. Most pros use a 5-inch backing plate with 5.5-inch pads for their daily driver tools because it is such a versatile set-up that works in the majority of cases. Yes, there are larger, and yes, even smaller ones. However, this is the goldilocks size. I have multiple 5.5-inch pads already from a prior device, and didn’t want to go buy a bunch more new ones for a new tool. Most of these DeWalt battery-ready aftermarket tools have a 6-inch plate, which is a total no-go with a 5.5-inch pad. You’ll scratch the heck out of your car. This is the size you want right here if that’s you. Also, the motor is brushless in this one, which most of the cheaper ones don’t have. This means the motor will last longer and so will the battery. I like this tool and am pleased with the purchase!

This polisher is as good or better in some ways as other name brand that i’ve used including cordless flex/rupes. Well balanced and hardly any vibration even at high speed. Note this a RANDOM ORBIT polisher not a forced rotation, which is what i wanted and think is better for applying wax, aoi sealants and compound with the right micro fiber pad. It keeps rotating even at low speed compared to portercable which i still use sometimes, stalls out. Also quieter than forced which i think are useless an cater to ytbers new to the game that dont know how to correct paint vs people that actually do this professionally. they like to talk about detailing for for likes and subscribes. Can use it like a rotary for fiberglass boats at higher speed with a quality wool or microfiber pad. Other cordless are all forced rotation 15or21mm rup/dewl/flex, makit is both. Used with 9ah dewalt worked great.pads are ok but with quality pads work even better meg/lakecontry. good weight not too heavy. note, i never leave reviews. great tool hope this helps someone out.

I like the variable speed settings. I use a four amp Dewalt battery in it and it seems to be just fine. Works the whole time on the car or whatever I’m waxing. I would recommend it. The price was good.

This is actually built very well. Feels very powerful and is well balanced with a 6ah or 8ah battery. I’ll be testing it tomorrow will update after using it.
