This car adapter is packed with options in a tiny package! It has a lightning and USB-C charging cable that retracts back into the device – this is super awesome and my favorite part about it. Both cords are around 3ft long. They are long enough to charge the passengers phone while they use it and plug in your phone while it’s on a phone mount, but it’s not long enough to reach into the back seat… or at least not long enough for someone in the back seat to charge and use their device at the same time. There is also a standard USB port, and USB-C that you can use your own supplied cable if you need a longer one.This USB port also allows a phone to connect to the adapter (you can also use bluetooth). The adapter then broadcasts a radio channel that you tune your car radio to so that you can listen to music or take phone calls. The adapter has controls to answer calls, and skip and go back on songs.Another nice feature is that the adapter is bendable, which is nice because in our van the cigarette lighter port is very low so bending it to face up allows me to access the cables a lot easier. I imagine some vehicles may need the adapter to bend because it does protrude out a bit.One last thing that is a very nice feature and worth knowing about. The front of the adapter displays the car voltage it reads from the battery. There is an alarm built into the adapter that sounds once the voltage is lower than 11.5v – which means you should unplug it from the cigarette lighter. This will keep your batter from being drained too fast from having too many devices using the adapter or something that is drawing way too much at once. This is a good safety measure so you don’t find yourself with a low battery.Very awesome device and highly recommended!
