Perfect Fit and Location
This review is by a 6’2″ male who drives a 2019 Subaru Forester. I would get lower back pain after about an hour driving my SUV. The SUV’s lumber support did not help. Adjusting the seat was inadequate. I was drawn to this product because it was not too thick but was a little worried about it after reading some of the negative reviews and was concerned because it was not adjustable. I decided that I would be able to figure out some way to lengthen or shorted the straps if necessary so I purchased it because the price was so low. Just got back from a 1300 mile trip where I was driving over 4 hours straight. It exceeded my expectations. For whatever reason it fit me perfectly without any adjustment. I could feel the perfect level of support the first time I sat down. It stayed in place without too much trouble. I don’t like to give such lofty or lengthy reviews but pretty much had no choice here. I considered a Comfort demerit solely because it appeared to get hot but decided against it because my back probably would have gotten hot either way. If you’re looking for a slimmer lumbar support go ahead and take a flyer on this one.

It works, straps are too short for my truck seat.
I bought this for 2021 Chevy Silverado. The straps are not long enough to go completely around the back of the seat. I connected the straps behind the headrest and then crammed the two bottom connectors (for lack of a better word) into the back of the seat so they flip and stay. The back of the seats are not like they used to be, there is a flap that covers the back crack (sorry I used that term) so trying to connect them–even if the straps were long enough–would not work. This Silverado does not have lumbar in the seat and the little bit of padding helps my lower back. I can move it around to put it where I need it. It is soft material and it slides when I get in because I have leather seats. All in all it does it’s job, and it’s nice to have something that doesn’t fall forward when I get out of my truck.

Good pad, but not adjustable for height/back position
I was looking for a thin lumbar pad because the 3-4 inch thick kind push me into a too-far forward position, even with the driver’s seat slid all the way back, and cramps my leg room. This pad is thin and comfortable. But it can only be placed in one position because the straps aren’t adjustable. In addition, the bottom straps on the seat anchors are too short to fit all the way through the seat opening to the rear compartment, even when stretched. My solution was to replace the straps and anchors with makeshift ones that put the pad in the best position for me. The straps need to be adjustable out of the box.

Good profile for lumbar support
I tried several products, this is the one that worked. It’s just the right lumbar support for my car which is the trim line with the least bells and whistles, and the only item I really missed was a more adjustable seat. The straps weren’t quite long enough for me, so I snipped them, and use just the support. I place it when I get into the car and sit down, and it stays there even for long drives. The profile is just right for the lumbar support I need.

Perfect thickness!
I tried another lumbar support that was very thick and it would make me slide out of my seat. This lumbar is thin but it is the perfect thickness for me. I am a city bus driver that drives about 8-10 hours per day driving and this has really really helped my back. It is super soft comfortable. The size of it is also great. I love that it clips to the headrest so that it stays in place! Worth the investment in your health! Definitely recommend!

They changed them!! To a bad pillow!
I ordered several pillows from Amazon and returned all of them except this one. The other ones were too big or thick and were not comfortable in the car seat. This one was much thinner and is just perfect for both our cars.If you have ordered other back pillows and found them too thick/big, then I would try this one.**2024 update**The pillows I bought in 2021 were fantastic and still are. I just ordered 2 more and they are BAD! They changed the stuffing to something stiffer and the pillow is a little bit bigger! Now it doesn’t compress very much so it feels like you have a lump in your back! Not comfortable! They destroyed a great product 🙁

Too much
Even though this is a very slim pillow it still pushed me too far forward in my car seat. All the straps and insert buckles are too much work and not worth it. I was more comfortable without this.

Pretty good, but not position on suspension straps is not adjustable
My daily driver is a 2005 MD E320 CDI with ~150K miles, so the seat padding in the lumbar area is compressed, which hurts my back. I needed a lumbar support that was narrow enough to fit into the curve of the back of the seat without hitting the sides of the seat, which flare forward. This thing does fit nicely into the narrow space of the back of the seat, but because of the way the seat is designed in this car, the length of the bottom install pieces is a little too short, so it pulls it snug against the bottom of the seat, which is maybe a couple of inches too low. It is still doing its job of keeping my lower back forward of the compressed foam, so I am keeping it. But, if the lumbar pad were adjustable up and down on the retention straps, it would be perfect.

Provides the support I need so I don’t get upper back pain. Replaced the lumbar support that came with my gaming chair, its much more comfortable, smaller and softer. Almost feels like part of the chair. Only issue is that it did not come with instructions, it does not hook up the same way as other lumbar supports. Be careful not to over stretch the straps.

Bon produit, pourrait être plus ferme. Cependant, cette solution est meilleure qu’un support dorsal complet qui prend trop de place sur le siège.

Sad to say that I can only give it three stars. It however is exactly the right size for what I need and unfortunately the seat it’s on it can’t tie onto very well. But the biggest issue is that the material used has compressed like Grandma’s cushion on her couch. For that reason it does not keep its shape very well. The older part of the cushion would probably be very comfortable but the centre core should be something more firm to help it keep its shape. I hope the manufacturer can improve this because I would certainly buy another if I knew it could stand up to being he did against longer than it has. – Two weeks sorry
