Autotech Park Foldable Sunshade Compatible with 2018-2024 Audi Q5 SUV, Custom-fit Windshield Sun Shade

A little small For 2024 Q5 Audi
Quality is good. However the size is too small. In the middle near the mirror, there is a 2.5 inches gap, exposing my dashboard in the sun which Is the reason why I bought this in the first place. See pic. And on the edges, it has 1.5 inches gap as well. I can give this a 5 star if only the measurements are not short.

Fit perfect
This fit my 2019 audi q5 perfectly. Great quality and construction. I recommend this shade.

Too Rigid – Impossible to fit behind rear-view mirror
I received the AutoTech Park Foldable Sunshade today. Upon removing it from the packaging, I was impressed by the quality and thickness of the shade. It is very stiff and robust, with little to no flex or flimsiness to it. The construction seems very solid – including nice soft felt on one side, with reflective foil on the other. I also appreciated how easily it folded and stored back into the provided storage bag. No weird folding steps, just a very basic according style fold. Overall Initial impressions were very good.I was pleased with purchase….until I actually tried to use it in my 2019 Audi SQ5.Ironically, the same rigidity and stiffness that I appreciated initially, turned into one of the biggest obstacles in trying to actually use it. Because the shade is cut very precisely to specifically fit the shape and contour of an Audi Q5/SQ5 windshield – and because it’s so rigid – there is practically zero “slack” or buffer to manipulate the shade either laterally or vertically along the dash or side pillars. The term “fits like a glove” comes to mind. But imagine your hand with a 6th finger or perhaps a rear-view mirror growing out of it. Suddenly that same glove wouldn’t fit very well (if at all). Despite having a center section cut out of the shade to accommodate the rearview mirror – it’s not sufficient. The precise ‘glove fit’ makes it very, very difficult (impossible) to slide the shade into place and around the rear-view mirror without:A:) dramatically tilting/moving/angling the mirror every single time you put the shade in place (or take the shade down for driving). You will perpetually be readjusting the mirror every single time you use this shade.B:) Bending / breaking / damaging the naturally rigid Styrofoam framework of the shade – causing it to sag, droop, and make the (very easy) folding process far more difficult (imagine trying to properly refold a map that’s been wadded up a dozen times)After giving up on trying to fit the shade behind the mirror without cranking the mirror sideways at an almost 90-deg right-angle to the windshield, I decided to bend and bow the shade around the front of mirror, using the Driver and Passenger-side sunvisors to pin the shade in place. I figured that while not optimum…it’s better than the 2 alternatives above. Nope…that doesn’t work either. As soon as you fold the vanity mirrors/sunvisors down to pin the AutoTech shade, the center portion of the Sunshade presses against the rearview mirror, pushing it down and once more forcing you to readjust before driving.In summary – I love the construction and build quality of the shade, it’s genuinely a nicely constructed shade and fits the windshield absolutely perfectly…if my Audi didn’t have one of those annoying rear-view mirrors stuck to the windshield, the sunshade would be virtually perfect and would get 5 stars all day long. Sadly it does have a mirror and the shade won’t (easily) fit with it in place.

I found the product to be just slightly smaller than expected and the fit was just a bit under what it should be. Otherwise it’s a pretty descent product.

The quality is good but size is not a perfect fit for Audi q5 2021
