Works great for Chevy Truck sensors
About 3 years ago I purchased some used OEM Chevy wheels from a 2015 model Silverado to put on my 2012 model. The seller wasn’t sure if they had TPMS sensors installed, but I took a chance. When I couldn’t get them to sync with my truck, I just assumed there were none there or they weren’t compatible because of the difference in model year. So for 3 years I’ve driven with the yellow tire warning on my dash. Last week I needed new tires and while they were being changes I saw TPMS sensors in the wheels. I started looking to see if there was a way to make them work and found this nice little device. Can’t beat the price and I was amazed that it worked to turn the sensors back on just by holding it near the valve stem on the wheel. Now I get pressure readings for all 4 tires and I have a tool to re-learn the truck next time I get a tire rotation.

Worked great for 2009 GM vehicle
It took a couple tries, but that might be just my vehicle, a 2009 Pontiac Solstice, my tire center replaced one of the sensors and their computer to program the sensor was broken with no ETA on when they would get a new one. Nevertheless, having this diagnostic tool is a good idea, especially considering that tire centers may not consistently reprogram the sensors during routine tire rotations. A minor issue is the size of the battery compartments, trying to pull the battery is a bit chanllenging, it could bend the contacts, wrap a cord or tape around the opposite site to the contacts to make it easier to pull the battery out.

Excellent product save me hundreds of dollars as a mechanic told me I needed to replace the sensors in tires YouTube video showed how to use this it does take a 9 volt battery not included

Did the job well, but failed the next time I needed to use it 7 months later.
Worked great, and then after a tire rotation 7 months later only worked intermittently – to where I couldn’t get all four times programmed and clear the silly warning. Unfortunately, every competing, identical product looks and costs about the same. I’d be happy to buy a higher quality version but these cheapos apparently crowd them out of the market… so I’m buying another from a different no-name brand.

Did not work correctly
Purchased this to make it easier to reprogram the TPMS sensors when switching from summer to winter tires. This thing is kind of a waste of money.I made sure I followed the instructions I found online and watched a few YouTube videos as well. This did not come with any instructions but there are some in the listing.Installed a fresh battery after having some issues and it did not help.Started to program the tires and could only get the front left to program properly. After the first tire is programmed, it will not accept any more. I feel like the transmitter isn’t strong enough. I tried it several times and even started at a different tire (I knew it would be wrong, just testing my theory) a d it would not program any of them except for the front left.Maybe I have bad TPMS sensors? Nope. Took it to a tire shop and they were able to program all four without any problems.I would seriously consider not purchasing this product. If you do, make sure to test it prior to the return window so if you do have the same issues I did, at least you can return yours.
