Solid product that was easy to adjust
I was looking to add a GPS,even though I used Google maps like everyone else, I just couldn’t stand the bad navigation and the new advertising popping up…lift anyone? While you’re driving? So I got the Garmin with traffic. This extended stand allowed me to place the GPS within my arm length and right below the line of sight through the windshield.Straight forward install, although without the little support foot the unit would wobble quite a bit.The little foot confounded me a but, expecting a sticking attachment. I found that the tricky was to install the bar without the support, bend it so there is some tension to the target area where the support foot would be, then slide the foot in place. No more wobbling! YAY.I guess we’ll find out if the main suction cup will hold during the summer. But as it is it is holding tight.

Works as advertised, but maybe not for everyone
I bought this as a replacement for a previous GPS holder of similar design that mounted directly to the windshield with a short, rigid extension. This version replaces the rigid extension with a much longer “gooseneck” and a vastly improved suction cup that grips like a vise. Time will tell if it will hold up to the continual vibration and sunlight that seem to weaken all such mounts over time, but my initial impressions are favorable. On the downside, while the gooseneck may give some users the extra “reach” they need to mount to their windshield, if you don’t need that reach the previous version might be a better choice.Upon initial use, I quickly realized that mounting my GPS to the fully extended gooseneck without the included “stabilizer” was a non-starter. At the end of the unsupported “stalk,”, my GPS jiggled and swayed at every bump in the road. I didn’t think there was any risk of it coming loose, but the continual bouncing was very distracting. Unfortunately, in my preferred mounting location, there isn’t a good place to add the stabilizer, so I looked for another location where I could brace the gooseneck or the GPS itself against something solid..Ultimately, I mounted to the windshield directly in front my driving position and rested the GPS itself on the top of the dash. This provided the two points of stability that solved the bouncing problem, but it may not be the best solution for safety reasons. Having the GPS positioned so much closer is helpful for reaching the controls. But having the continually moving display right in my line of sight is very distracting,.I may get used to it in time, but upon further reflection and experience, I believe the previous version was better for my needs. It was long enough to keep the GPS within reasonably easy reach but off to the side where it didn’t compete for my attention. I may continue playing around with this mount to see if I can figure out a way to move it back to the side with the requisite bracing.

Game changer!!!
I REALLY like these!!! I have 3 of them, One in my work semi and 2 in my Suburban. I always hated leaning WAY over to use my gps that was mounted on the windshield. Would buy another in a heartbeat.

Almost the best GPS mount, except…..
I bought this product along with the woleyi dual Ipad/cell phone mount back on May 6, 2023.I am pleased mostly with the window suction, which has never faltered in the 2 months since I purchased it.the arm constuction and positionality are great. However the mounting ball at the end of the arm where the GPS mounts to it is a very loose grip. the GPS will reposition at the slightest bump in the road. though the suction mount to the window and the arm are very secure, the whole thing is unsless because the GPS will not hold position. the only way I have managed to continue to use this mount is by placing the arm low on the window and utilizing the arm support that comes with the product. In this way I can position the arm just off the dashboard and rest the bottom of my GPS on the dash. This gets me by, however using the mount higher on the window will not allow my GPS to hold position. Maybe a bit more development is needed for this product, or just a positioning ball that fits would work best.

Solved problem…Nice accessory!
My vehicle is a 2013 Chrysler Town and Country. The sloping glass necessitates a very long mounting device to be of any use in my day-to-day driving with my Garmin. Your product is very nice and solid in construction. However, even though my Garmin model isn’t listed specifically for this product, the mounting attachment on my Garmin measured “perfectly” as indicated on your advertisement spec and should work fine. I noticed your mounting ball doesn’t snap into back of my Garmin nearly as secure as the Garmin mounting ball stanchion that comes with the typical Garmin Auto units. Hasn’t given me a problem yet, but I’m sure a good pothole bounce here in Michigan this winter will knock it off this mount. Beyond that, it has solved my issue with locating my Garmin GPS to a useful location. I would definitely recommend this mount with long-reach, exaggerated sloped windshields.

This was a very useful product! The only recommendation I have is the secondary holder clip -put it as close to the GPS as possible to prevent wobbling/vibration.
