Solid aluminum, nice looking, no lights
This is a clean-looking, well made port that doesn’t have any nonsense printing, and more importantly, has no goofy lights. This makes it perfect in an area where you might be sleeping, or simply don’t want bright light. The lack of printing or no-name Amazon branding is also welcome, making it very clean and sanitary looking. I’m amazed it really is made out of aluminum, meaning it won’t crack or feel as flimsy. For the price, I’m quite surprised at how nice it is. The fit of the cables is very solid and satisfying as well, and my devices don’t give me any errors when charging. It’s a no-brainer.

Not sure why I feel like I need so many USB ports in my van, but I do, and this unit works great. 4 USB ports (2 USB-A, 2 USB-C), and a cool little volt meter to help you monitor the voltage of your battery. I installed one in the back pillar of my van along with a cigarette lighter socket and the remote control for my inverter. All the different kinds of power I’d need, all in one place, I use these to charge different tools several times a week.

Works perfect in an old Jeep
I love that it looks like a factory option. Both outlets charge quickly at the same time, and it feels very snug in the space where the 12V outlet used to be. I like that it does not have any LED light so it blends with the rest of the lines in the jeep.

Great Buy… For a 2005 Acura TSX
I purchased this to replace the cigarette plug in a 2005 Acura TSX. The installation was pretty easy with the exception of the wires being really. I would suggest having some readily available wire. This screwed into the plastic housing for the cigarette plug that was taken out. Despite not completely seating into the plastic housing, it gets screwed down tight enough to where the plug orientation doesn’t change. The install looked flush and had no appearance of being aftermarket. the plug was a steal at the listed price and is functioning like it is supposed to so far. There is no LED indicator for charging status and again, the wires are short. Other than this, i am extremely happy with the purchase.

Exactly as described and a simple excellent product. And I don’t know if this was intentional, but fits perfectly in cigarette lighter holes in old dash boards. Not even a need to cut a hole. Go one further and put a USB plug on the handle of the cigarette lighter and you don’t even know it’s there until you want to use it. Worked better than I ever expected.

Bought for use in my 2007 f150 (4.6 V8). Works nice, replaces the cigarette lighter area nicely to charge phones and FM Transmitter. My only advice is get the one with screws to be sure it doesnt turn or move when unplugging USB’s.
