Easy to install and use
I’ve been really impressed with this CarPlay system. It’s installed in my Nissan Armada, and I use the FM transmitter. The hookup was surprisingly easy — I had it installed and running in no time. It connects to my phone instantly every time I start the car, and CarPlay works exactly the way it should. The screen is clear, the controls are responsive, and overall, it’s been a great upgrade for my vehicle. The only issue I had during setup was trying to find the best spot to place the screen. The windshield mount is very secure, but I didn’t like it mounted there, so I chose the dashmounting option. If you are mounting it to your dash, use the included disk to make it secure. Mine fell off once before I used the disk. Definitely worth it if you’re looking for a simple, reliable setup to update an older vehicle.

Just what we needed for infotainment
I ordered this to use in a 2011 Chevy Silverado truck. The truck has a basic radio with the ability to subscribe to satellite radio. We wanted a infotainment option to improve our ability to use GPS, Music app(iHeart), and the ability to take calls via Bluetooth/truck speaker.This was the complete package and answer to our needs. It was super easy to setup. You do not need any subscriptions, or additional apps to make this work. You only need a phone with Bluetooth. Have your phone on, turn on the portable screen (plug in to cigarette lighter). Connect via the Bluetooth. You need either Android Auto, or Apple Carplay. Those apps take over from there and connect to the device.What does the screen look like? We use Android Auto, essentially your phone’s home screen is cast on to this display when you are not using the Maps app. This means you can see and use whatever app is on your home screen. The device has 3 different views – android auto, phone home screen, call screen. The sound can come out of the device or your auto speakers (Bluetooth, Aux cable, FM transmission). It will not be the best sound, but if you never had this option available, its great!The mount is very secure, it has a tacky substance that will not budge from the window. They do give you a mini plastic ‘crow bar’ to pry it off as needed. You can easily slide the device on and off the special mount adapter at the end of the arm when you leave you auto. Just make sure to power it off or disconnect from the lighter so you do not drain your auto battery.I highly recommend this for you older auto and with the current price $40 make it worth it.

This solved a lot of the annoyances of having old tech in my car. Instant upgrade at a low price. Installs easily, screen is clear, connected with my phone without issue so I have navigation available.

Disconnects from Bluetooth
Even though the phone is literally 2 feet away, the units CONSTANTLY disconnects from Bluetooth and resets. This is the reason why I replaced my old one because it was doing the SAME THING!!!
