for a bike light it’s one of the brightest ones you could ever have. Cars flash their highbeams at me because I’m killing them. It’s great. Bike? I could land a 747 with these lights if they let me stick my head out the window. (and if I knew how to fly a plane!) I have two on my bike handlebars and together there is some weight. These are not “light lights.” But they are amazing. I even keep one in my car, a blast in the eyes with this can be blinding. Watch where you point it.

The light itself is fairly large and heavy, so I was worried that the handlebar mount would have a difficult time keeping it straight, but I am happy to report the mount works excellent. For reference, my bars are 35mm, and the wrap-around mount fits with room to spare. I mention this because I’ve had many name-brand lights come with mounts that are just too small to fit 35mm bars. You won’t have any problems here.The beam profile has a somewhat focused center part, and a decent amount of flood/spill to the sides. I don’t have any problems about the beam profile while riding. I like that the light has individual power and level controls. This makes it much easier to turn the light on/off or change settings on the fly, without worrying about single-button press-and-hold controls.As mentioned, the light is pretty heavy, but the battery life has been pretty great so far. My nighttime rides typically last an hour or so, and I’ve had no problems keeping the light on maximum power the whole time.For the price ($36.38CAD at time of review), I actually prefer this light over many of my name-brand lights. The value is incredible. Maybe not the best option if you’re concerned about weight, but for mountain biking and trail riding, I think it’s great. Highly recommended.

I’m actually really impressed with this bike light because its extreme brightness makes me feel safe when I ride my bicycle at night. Even during the dark winters and foggy morning, this light cuts right through the darkness. The strong beam lights up the entire road or trail ahead of me, almost like a car headlight, and the different modes are perfect. I use the steady high beam for dark paths and the flashing mode to be seen in city traffic. It’s very simple for me to attach tightly to my handlebar and it stays on securely. So far, it has never fallen off and i don’t think it ever will. It’s affordable and I would highly recommend this especially if you bike at night!
