Why do all lights only light up red whether I’m in drive, neutral, or park?
It may be that you connect the brake wire (blue line) to the engine battery. Please connect the blue line to the positive/negative pole of the vehicle’s brake light, you can use it normally.
Why does it shut off after 5 seconds every time u turn it on?
Memory function: After power turn on, the state before power-off is displayed by default.
If you used the remote control to turn off the light, it will stay turned off state after the power is turned on. At this time you just turn on the light by pressing the remote ON/OFF.
Why does when I attempt to operate the light, it’s like they’re stuck in a dual zone?

Why I connected directly to the battery normally, but the light doesn’t light up.
1. Please confirm connecting the red wire to the positive, and the black wire to the negative pole of the engine battery.
2. Open the switch, and you can see the indicator light turn red. (If the light kit can’t light up, you need to press the remote ON/OFF button.)

Edit: I have changed my review to 5 stars, because the seller reached out to me and corrected the issue. I feel this was most likely an unusual situation and not the norm.Overall, this is a pretty nice light kit, especially for the price. They could have earned a 5 star review from me had it not been for a couple of issues.Let’s start with the positives:They seem pretty tough. I got the metal alloy set, and I think they physically should last a lifetime under my golf cart.They are nice and bright with good coverage.The connectors seem pretty durable and definitely waterproof.The set came with plenty of wire for most setups.The two remotes seem to work pretty well. I haven’t tried the app.I love that blue wire that hooks to the brakes to make the light turn red while braking.Now the negatives:Where the wires go into the actual lights, the rubber seal doesn’t appear to seal very well (see my photo).There are a total of 8 #6 screws. I would have been more than happy to pay an extra $2 to get some decent quality screws. Because I mounted them to the metal frame of my golf cart, I pre-drilled the holes because I was worried about stripping the philips head tops of these self tapping screws. Two of them snapped off even though I wasn’t using much force at all. You can see one of the snapped screws in my photos. You can see there is practically no damage to the head from me screwing it in. If I was using a lot of force, the head would not look that good. Because two broke, on two different lights, I had to pull off the adhesive pads (which you are forced to use) to get a set of vice grips on to remove the broken screws. It added a good half an hour, and lots of frustration, to the installation. Luckily, I had some SS screws that were the appropriate size. Thank goodness there was enough exposed for me to remove them and not have to drill them out.I hope the manufacturer reads this and upgrades the bolts and does a better job with sealing the lights. If they did that, 5 stars.

the set is identical to the darkeagle set i bought just before this one and wouldnt you know it the blue lights didnt work on it either these are all the same poorly made junk frm the same manufacturer just in a different box what it is is there is a manufacturer sellling it to these various distibutor companies for next to nothing and they mark it up and ship it over here in there own box there is a reason the actuall components come it a zip lock bag its becuse there built in bulk by the cheapest manufacturer im so over it its a good thing that red is the color i want or i would be pissed looks like im keeping this pos dont buy it ok after installing the lights on my bike the blue magicaly started working so it is after all a decent set so far and what i really enjoy about it is that i didnt have to use my phone or wifi to use it very nice so far

Won’t last long!
The lights only lasted for 3 weeks of my trip across America tour. The first cold temperatures in Denver showed water in lights. 5 days later the lights started to dimly flash. After that-nothing works. Update: The seller replied. “We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience regarding your order and would like to offer you a full refund for your purchase.If you would like a full refund: please reply.”
