Great addition to my Volvo XC 90 while I wait for my daughter
My daughter plays volleyball for a travel club and she has practices twice a week. Her practice is only an hour and half but she has to get there 15 minutes early and it’s about 35 minute drive so I end up waiting at the parking lot, along with other parents parked and waiting for their daughters. There are many parents that own Tesla cars and I can see that they are watching Netflix or YouTube inside their car with their big screen console while waiting. I also have a decent size console screen that supports Apple CarPlay but it does not allow me to watch Netflix or YouTube as those apps are not available in Apple CarPlay. That’s why this Magic AI Box is such an amazing device that everyone that has Apple CarPlay on their cars should own. I can now finally watch Netflix or YouTube videos through the main console screen of my Volvo XC 90 using this device!The setup was very simple as I simply plug this to the USB port where I would normally plug my iPhone to for the Apple CarPlay. Once the device starts blinking, I can go to my Bluetooth setting on my iPhone and pair it with this device. Once it’s successfully paired, this user interface for this Ai Box is displayed on my car console screen and it has Netflix and YouTube apps on it. I can also still use the GPS app for navigation or Spotify to listen to my music playlist but I just love that I can now watch an episode or two while I’m parked and waiting for my daughter, which is the best way to kill time. The picture and sound quality is no different than how it was for my Apple CarPlay and it does not lag or anything. The best part is that it’s now paired with my iPhone wirelessly so I don’t have to plug my phone when I get into my car like how I used to do before. Just start my car and it’s automatically paired and ready to use. I wish I can buy another one for my wife’s car but she does not have Apple CarPlay so it won’t help as this is an addon enhancement to the cars that already have Apple CarPlay and it’s so worth the money to upgrade the Apple CarPlay feature to the next level! I own two vehicles, and before purchasing this product, I consulted with technicians at an auto shop to confirm compatibility. My first car is a 2024 Honda CR‑V, which comes with built-in wireless Android Auto, so I didn’t need to purchase an additional wireless Android Auto adapter. My second car is a 2020 Honda Odyssey, which supports wired Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. That’s where this Apple CarPlay wireless adapter came in handy — and I’m really glad I got it!❤️ Simple Setup – Easy Pairing:1. I followed the instructions and was able to easily pair the adapter with my Apple device.2. Once paired, I could configure internet and/or Bluetooth connectivity directly from the screen.3.
