I have multiple of this item for all my cars. works great with nearly no lag. installation is plug and play and connects seamlessly once paired. and if it sticks out then you can easily get an angled usb connector to install it where it will not stick out and be in the way. great value option for the cost.

Works great definitely worth it!! Easy to connect and once connected to phone car is turned on it automatically connects to your phone there after. Would buy again and would recommend. Audio quality is great too I use Spotify premium and music as well as podcasts on YouTube and Spotify sounds great for road trips or just on the go.

Perfect Little Device
This is so much smaller and less expensive than the other adapters offered, I was afraid it might not work as well. It is perfect. No lag with Android Auto, and no concerns about perfectly placing the phone the keep the wired connection from getting knocked out. Plug and play setup was also super easy. The only caveat is that if your phone is already connected to your car, you will have two different notifications for setup the first time you connect. After the first time, it connects automatically. I do plan to get a mounted wireless charger in my car as well, but I will use a different outlet than the adapter connection.

As soon as the device that plugs into the car (USB Type-A) was connected via bluetooth to my phone, the Android Auto automatically came up in the car. I had previously been using the same phone for Android Auto using a usb cable. You can safely disregard the massive instruction set that is included.

Reasonably small, comes with a USB- USB C adaptor if your car doesn’t have the older USB port.Once setup, connects back to your phone very quickly, but if someone else connects to it, then you come back – you need to setup again.Thankfully the manual is well written inside (ignore the title!) and I had it all up and running in under 3 minutes.

I’ve been sceptical about items like this having tried several incarnations over recent years. This one is a breath of fresh air. It did take a few minutes to set up and I had to poke Bluetooth a few times to get it to connect but now it is seamless every time I get in the car (2021 Skoda Karoq/ Samsung S24 Ultra). Just pop the infotainment onto ‘App’ and Android auto is there within seconds. I have mine set up to play Amazon Music too and this works brilliantly even to the point of recalling where I’ve listened to on my playlist. Very impressed and highly recommended.
