These 12.4″ 4K Android 11 Car TV Headrest Monitors are amazing! The dual linked touch screens make it easy for both backseat passengers to enjoy movies, games, or apps at the same time. Picture quality is sharp and vibrant, and the 4G + 64G storage gives plenty of space for videos and apps.Setup was surprisingly easy, and I love that they support phone wireless mirroring, WiFi, Bluetooth, HDMI, and even video playback from USB. My kids are thrilled, and long trips are now much more enjoyable. The touch responsiveness is smooth, and the Android interface is intuitive.

Cords get in the way
The tablets are easy to install and do what they do, which is provide a fixed car tablet that allows for main streaming services, though all of the apps will need to be updated first before you use them and a phone hotspot is needed for access if the car doesn’t have Wi-Fi.My main gripes about these tablets relative to simply buying an iPad or Kindle:1. These tablets require a 12/24V car adapter to remain plugged in to use. For modern cars, that’s not always provided in the front: a USB hub is used there. For our car that charger is in the back, which requires a cord that can obstruct the car, as shown in the image. I would have given a higher review if the tablet could be provided with a connector to a USB port, which is more common in newer model cars. This tablet is pretty clearly designed for older cars that don’t provide USB ports and no longer have easily available 12/24V cigarette lighter style adapters. (However, you can buy a cigarette lighter style adapter to USB port elsewhere on Amazon.)2. The second screen cannot be used separately and needs to be connected to the main screen to work, which means both screens only work in one car as well as another cord required for it. It’s a bit of a letdown since I originally thought that the minimal functionality relative to a Kindle tablet would’ve been overcome by the idea that you would be getting two tablets. Since only one tablet has most of the functionality, there’s a limit on the other tablet’s capabilities.In general, it is a good product specifically for a family with two or more children who want to watch something different in one older model car, but don’t want to pay for two tablets. For any other family, considering the price of this product I would recommend spending the same amount for a more flexible Kindle or earlier gen iPad.
