It has completely solved that problem!6.Not for Streaming – If you’re looking to watch YouTube or Netflix, this product isn’t designed for that. It strictly focuses on providing a wireless CarPlay and Android Auto experience.

Does not work with my 2025 KIA Sportage
This device did not work with my 2025 Kia Sportage.There are no instructions included with the device and the instructions on the product page are vague at best.They say just “plug and play” but nothing I tried worked.The bluetooth name and wifi names did not match the instructions and if I manually connected to them, nothing happened.I will say it might be something to do with the interaction between the KIA’s software and the device, because every time I plugged the device in, the screen identified it as Apple Carplay and said I should start carplay on my iPhone, but of course I have an Android phone, which is why I purchased it.There was no way to start Android Auto on the car’s screen or on my phone, although I tried everything I could think of for quite a while.Wired Android Auto works perfectly in the car, just not this device.

I finally ordered this Carlinkit unit, which I’ve heard good things about. It’s roughly the size of a USB flash drive, but with USB-A on one side and USB-C on the opposite side.Connecting it to our Subaru Outback was easy enough. Just connect to bluetooth the Carlinkit provides and setup is done quickly. It works well with Android Auto maps, music, etc. No lag or disconnection issues yet.I don’t know if this is normal for Carlinkit, but various places mention this model as the “Mini Pro”, “Mini5 Pro”, or “Mini SE”. For example, the front of the package says “Mini Pro”. The back of the package and device says “Mini SE”. The listing page says both. Who knows. I wish the company could be more consistent.One con for our car is this unit sticks straight out of the USB port and blocks access to our phone holder. I wish it came with a short angled USB cord. But this is also partially Subaru’s fault for putting a USB port in this location.Overall, the Carlinkit Mini SE/Mini5 Pro/Mini Pro seems to work well. I’ll update my review if it fails early.

Boots up and pairs quickley
I got this to replace my old wired to wireless android auto/carplay dongle and it seems to be working great. The old one would randomly restart every now and then, which this one luckily hasn’t done yet. The dual interface (usb c and usb a) is redundant since I only have a USB A connection on my Boss Audio radio but I was surprised and glad that the clip on cover holds very soundly. If you’re looking to convert a wired carplay/android auto system into a wireless one with no more than a single bluetooth pairing step, this is a great option.

I have a Mazda CX-5 2023 and it supports wired Carplay. I have reviewed a few of these wireless adapters and most work pretty well, some go glitchy and stop connecting for one reason or another. I have used this one for a couple of months (granted summer months, no ultra cold temps yet) and it has worked/paired with my iPhone (16 Pro Max) everytime. Wireless is so much more convenient, just get in the car, start it up, and your car display goes right into Carplay. Music, podcasts, Siri commands, telephone, everything with this one works great. If you have a wired system and have been thinking about trying a wireless adapter, you will be happy with this one! I have been.

The product had issue were in the middle of the screen there is a strip where i can still see CarPlay home apps bleeding through. It is like an overlapping of two screens. Very annoying is makes vision not clear
