Very nice steering wheel cover – looks awesome.
Well, it took longer than expected to put on, but it’s probably the only thing I’ve ‘sewn’ this year. I think it helped having a curved needle. It was a little hard to stretch on, but that is probably because the original one had been held on tight by some tar-like substance like you would use to seal a window — probably a cheap way to make sure it didn’t slide on the wheel. So, since the ‘tar’ was hard to remove, I wrapped the steering wheel first with a bicycle handlebar cork wrap. Then I ‘stretched’ the leather cover over that — so it was a little tight, but nice and ‘cushy’ due to the cork wrap under the wheel cover.

Nice quality, soft, but stitches are rough
This came out very nice, especially for the price paid. It did take about an hour to install. Feels nice and good quality, although I’m not positive it’s real leather. If it’s fake it’s a good fake! My only real complaint is that the thread provided is kind of hard/rough and it doesn’t feel soft when you grip it on the wheel. So the cover itself is soft but the stitches aren’t. Might soften up over time.

Incomplete kit
Received incomplete steering wheel cover kit. Only the steering wheel cover was delivered. It feels like decent quality. However, No thread and no needles to install it.

Take the time to install it to get a custom look and feel
Seeing this onto your steering wheel will give it a custom look and feel. It will take a lot of extra time to put it on compared to the slip-on covers, but it’s worth the effort. It has a nice grip and feel and will never slip around on the steering wheel.
