This review is for the Leather Car Steering Wheel Cover, 15 Inch Anti-Slip Carbon Fiber Black Steering Wheel Cover, Universal Car Interior Accessories for Trucks Sedans SUVs (Black), which was selling for $10 at the time of this review – SEE MY NOTE at the end of this review.This is NOT a 4-star product for fit, material, or compared to other steering wheel covers I have used, BUT it is also 1/2 to 1/3 the cost of the ones that I usually buy, so, FOR WHAT IT COSTS, it is worth 4 stars. It fits rather sloppy with an overhang of the inner elastic ring by quite a bit unless your steering wheel is rather thick/fat (I tried it on 3 different steering wheels). It is somewhat wrinkled even when stretched on but not terrible. It is a lot easier to install and remove because the material is “stretchy” and it “scrunches up” into a small bundle when off, whereas all the other covers I have used have been more like real leather and hardly stretched at all and maintained a large round shape when off. It does grip well once on the wheel compared to some of the others I have used, so that is nice. My final verdict is that I won’t order this again unless it is just for a sun protector on vehicles that I don’t drive often and I will remove it when using those vehicles… my pictures show it in a dedicated off-road truck that is driven maybe 6 times a year so it will live in this truck when it sits parked and how easy it is to remove and the way it scrunches up small when off will make it easy to throw in the glove box. If this weren’t so cheap, I wouldn’t even consider it, but the fact that you can get it delivered to your door for $10 makes it a decent buy for what it is if you have the proper expectations.NOTE – If you are not familiar with Amazon Vine, it is basically Amazon trading products for honest reviews. NOTE that the items are NOT Free because Vine Members have to pay Income Tax on the value of the item, so the product is discounted but definitely not free, more like half price. As such, I don’t order things that I don’t NEED and USE!!! This is an important distinction because it should give you more faith that my reviews are not some fake nonsense boilerplate… I USE WHAT I ORDER and I don’t hold back if something is junk because I still had to pay for it… and this program actually bumped me up to a higher tax bracket in 2025, so it definitely wasn’t free!

A complete disappointment
The first words out of my mouth when I unpackaged this steering wheel cover was “What the heck is this?” as I could not identify what was in the clear bag just by looking at it. It’s only when I read the label on the bag that I realized what it was. I have never in my life seen a steering wheel cover folded up into a bag ever, especially not one this small.I brought it out to my car to take it out and get a look at it next to my steering wheel and at this point, I wasn’t even going to bother to take my old steering wheel cover off. I could not put myself through that hassle when I knew that this new one wasn’t going to work for me. So I stretched it over the top of my steering wheel just to give a view of it. It’s just a piece of fabric. No cushiness or anything. I am very disappointed in this product and can no long trust a steering wheel cover on Amazon ever again without first looking at the reviews. It also had an odd smell which I can’t begin to describe.
