My first experience using one of these, it worked VERY well!
Our tire picked up a large bolt that we could hear clicking when we were driving, and our low pressure warning light lit on our dash. Yep—tire was 7 psi below recommended (32 down to 25), I could not see the leak site and we were far from home so I drove some more then checked again. Just one more psi down over those 20 miles so all the way home (100 miles more) we drove. By that time I was able to find the leaking spot and see the bolt head had ground off or broken off. It was just a very slow leak, a few psi more per day, but I knew it would only get worse.I decided to order this kit after reading reviews & don’t believe the haters. It worked so well for me it is worthy of my time to write of my experience. The tools to me all seem robust & top notch, especially for the price. There are multiple straps inside the nice case to secure them in place. YES—you have to use your own pliers but come on—don’t ding the product when that is spelled out clearly in the description! So—I had the huge benefit of allowing a full day in my own garage to do this. I pulled the wheel since others had said it much easier that way. I then used my pliers to pull the remaining bolt out of the tire and immediately heard the air rush out. “That’s a pretty big hole!” I thought. I reamed the hole easily, lubed the plug installation tool, centered one plug strip in the tool and pushed it in all the way except about 1″ left outside the tire. I aired up the tire after about 5 minutes of what I thought would be “cure time” but don’t know if that’s necessary. After my initial inflation to full pressure the tire actually did leak down a bit over a few hours. A few cycles of this and it has stayed sealed completely ever since….not even down a pound! I assume this was the time the vulcanizing compound (already applied to the plugs) took to seal to the tire….maybe if I had driven on it right away (heat generated and varying forces) it would not have leaked out. My initial fear of “huge hole” and assuming I might need to plug twice or use 2 plugs the fear was unfounded.I will update this post if something goes awry. For now I am one happy customer as well as a happy camper. I’d strongly recommend this kit based on my experience, plus I have the remaining patches & tools if needed again. I hope this helps you with your decision/choice.

Lifesaver Tire Repair Kit Every Car Should Have One
This 24-piece tire repair kit has already saved me and my family multiple times. My car literally can’t go without it now. It’s compact, well-organized, and the tools are sturdy and professional-grade. Having this kit has saved us from costly trips to the tire shop, time wasted going back and forth, borrowing another car, or risking driving on a flat tire. Seriously, everyone should have one in their car, just buy it and keep it there. Trust me, it’s a game-changer!

    Compact kit sturdy tools
Bought to repair nail hole in 270/60/20 inch tire. I found another nail hole on same tire when fixing first one. Used to fix both and they sealed and are holding air after a couple days no pressure loss. The kit is equipped with all that’s needed to get the job done. In my case it was harder to remove the nails than plug the tire but I was able to do so without having to remove tire from truck.I will add that the tools are built well and kit includes a small wrench to tighten tools if ever needed and spare valves just in case but honestly in all my years of driving I never had to replace an inner valve core on a vehicle but they are there lol.The reamer to prep the hole is on the large size and I had to use a smaller one from an old kit I have to get it started and then the kit one to finish. The strips are very tacky and went in hole tightly for a good seal. Probably saved about 30/40 bucks so it paid for itself already.Comes in a nice zipper pouch you can keep in vehicle for emergency repairs. A good set of pliers and a knife or razor is good to have as well to help pull repair stick thru tool and or pull nail from tire. In my case I always have them available. I highly recommend this kit because it has everything you need and it’s a good buy at the price.

Had no issue and it was very easy to use. It has been a week and no leak.
Easy to use and its been a week and no leak. The kit is great and easy to use. The hard part was for me to get the screw out of my tire because the head was half gone. Once I got the screw out I followed the instructions and reamed the hole and inserted the plug and trimmed the plug.If you plan on keeping it in your car you probably should add a screwdriver and/or pliers to get the screw out of the tire and a razor to trim the plug once it is in. You really need a razor to trim the plug I tried with a knife but the had to get a razor.

This kit is on a completely different level
I’ve used the cheap plastic handle plug kits from Harbor Freight and other random Amazon brands before. They’ll get the job done on small ATV or motorcycle tires, but that’s about it.This kit is on a completely different level. The tools are solid, durable, and strong. Exactly what you want when plugging a full size auto tire. Feels professional grade and gives you confidence while using it. Very happy with the purchase.

    Great product
A friend had this kit and we used it to plug a tire. Still holding air. I was impressed by the heavy duty nature of the tools, ease of operation, I bought one, put a pair of plies and razor blade with it and you got a kit.

  7. Rashid

I ordered as I was going on a road trip, both repair handles were rusty, white rust. Also the lubricant was leaking. Have not tried it yet as planned to return it but missed the return window date.

  8. john

well first off you have to have your own pliers to pull the object from tire and there was no lubricant in the plastic container but other than that worked fine for me. where I live there is no shop in town which will plug a tire for you, they want to sell you a brand new tire. So if you have a 3 or4 hundred dollar brand new tire with a screw or something in it they want to sell you another tire. So this is a great bargain.

  9. Optus not working with WiFi and only working on 3G not 4G or 5G

Thanks for your item, it’s working great 👍

  10. Guy

Product is incomplete and not as shown in photographs. Lubricant container is empty and Insertion tool is missing the retaining platform/ring. Product description also lists 2 spare valve caps, but is shipped and shown with 2 spare valves.

  11. Tazman

Ordered this for my car as it does not come with a spare. It arrived with a critical part missing. It was missing the retaining platform that is critical for correctly inserting the plug material. It was also missing lubricant in the container. I will be returning it.
