A must have for e-bikes with no cage mounting bosses
We recently bought new Trek e-bikes that, due to the location of the internal frame down tube mounted battery, didn’t come with bosses for mounting water bottle cages. Our previous e-bikes had bosses on the down tube for mounting cages, and this is where we preferred to locate cages on the new bikes. The circumference of these down tubes with internal batteries is about 15”, which was way too large for most strap mounted cages. These long strap cage adapters are high quality with rubber backed straps and work great. They provide a very solidly mounted cage, and work with any brand of cages that have the standard 2 1/2” bolt spacing. They grip the large size down tubes really good and don’t slide. With our bikes, they provide an additional benefit of securing the battery cover which is held in place with magnets, making it impossible for the cover to come off, and also eliminate the occasional rattle of the cover. Highly recommend!

Works as described!
Use on Aventon bikes without bottle holder spot. Secure and holds water bottles nicely. Velcro strong and easy to attach. Had to trim end of wrap about an inch to remove overlap.

Good stable fit for an Aventon e-bike
My wife has an Aventon e-bike which has the large post holding the battery. This adapter fit nicely and snugly (good grip – no rotation). The fasteners lined up with a standard bottle holder. Well designed.

Working well – perhaps even better than expected
Worked as needed for 2 electric bikes that have a very thick battery on the forward stem.I was afraid it might slide down the stem as I rode hard, but it seems to be holding it’s position. One alternative you could do if you find it slipping down is place a little gorilla tape under it to create a rougher surface to grab onto.

Bought this recently as the eBike I ordered didn’t have proper bosses to mount a water bottle on the spine. This adapter worked absolutely perfectly and holds the water bottle caddy very snugly. Definitely a good buy.

Great product
Been using this product for about a year now. It comes with a pretty long strap so it will mount on larger size bars. Just have a normal metal water bottle cage on it. Took a little messing with to get it nice and tight but I have it on a tampered shift. Overall a great product if you don’t want to drill holes or anything and need a water bottle holder.

Mine wraps around the down tube over the battery. The rubber pad keeps it in place, and the wide strap has plenty of Velcro and holding strength.
