Good for family road trips
I really like that this wireless car play box is capable of playing things like Netflix. It was easy to set up and works great in my husband’s truck. We have a travel trailer so we pack up the whole family for camping trips and the long drives are nice when you can put on a TV show or movie for the passengers to enjoy. It’s size is small and fits nicely in the under-dash compartment in my husband’s truck. This one was reasonably priced and since it’s also compatible with my Mom’s truck so we can connect it to either one of needed.

Constant overheating. Doesn’t handle calls well.
This worked great for about two weeks. Now it consistently overheats. When I park my truck the usb ports stay on for awhile. That means this is just staying on and heating up. I went to get groceries today and by the time I came back (20 mins) the device refused to re-pair and kept showing a red light. After unplugging it, waiting ten minutes or so, then clearing the cache from android auto in my phone, it re-paired. I have a 2025 ram 1500 and an s25 ultra. The device is plugged into my USB port under the radio and the fan under it is always facing up to allow it to ventilate. I am wary of how this will perform over the summer as I live in NC and it can break 100 degrees in a car on a hot day. I’ve noticed since this has happened i now have issues with people hearing me when I get a call or try to make a call, bluetooth stuttering, all intermittent until I unplug the device and clear my cache.

Works with Ford Mach E
First off, the ford Mach E center display works fine as it is with just Android Auto or car play. It’s just a little, well…boring. After researchingthese devices for a few days and comparing a few of them and finally settling for this one, it’s clear that I picked a winner! Long story short. Substantial upgrade! Super easy to set up. The build quality seems very good and ridged. One thing that immediately stood out was the sound quality! Never heard my speakers sound so good! It became pretty clear that using my phone was the inferior method. And I own a flagship android. So essentially what happens here is the center display becomes an android table. You can still connect your phone to the AI box to make phone calls and receive messages. I couldn’t recommend this device enough. Just buy it.

Did not work as expected for honda 2018
For android auto and Honda pilot 2018, it had issue with playing music from vlc. Song will play only for 2 sec and stops due to some reason.Otherwise device was ok

Sweet small working device
This thing is sweet! I was looking for something that would be able to play a streaming service in my car such as Netflix or YouTube. It isn’t complicated at all! Just hook it up follow the instructions and go! It’s great for traveling if you are and easily distracted or if you need the kids to be distracted by something so you can shut the noise out. Or if you’re idle waiting for someone and trying to pass by the time this works great too. I’ve had it for a while now and so far so good! I would say it’s worth it!

Spent about 2 hours trying to get this to work in my 2025 Yukon and finally gave up. It kept cycling on and off android auto, connecting and telling me to follpw directions on my phone, and then my phone telling me to press the app on the vehicles screen which wasn’t there. There’s no app, and a small instruction manual that wasnt helpful. The thing was pretty hot considering it didn’t even workReturning.
