Plastic screw caps!
The quality of the frames appear fine and the thickness of the stainless steel seem to be appropriate. The foam backing (to minimize plate rattle) is a welcomed bonus. I am a little disappointed that the screw caps are made of a flimsy plastic. I’m pretty sure the chrome flashing will peel away after just one winter. Other than this, I’m satisfied with this purchase.

Wasn’t really a good fit for my vintage 1955 Oregon plates. but maybe mine are shorter top to bottom. Came with only one rubber backing to prevent rattles. Screws were metric machine screws with no nuts, and would not thread into the square plastic clips typical on American cars. I was able to find some nuts and washers in my shop to make one work on the rear of my car. Screw caps fit well, and it looks nice, a second pad and screws with threads for the plastic clips or flanged nuts for the machine screws would be good.

Love these license plate brackets. Look really good, have not seen any rust on them, caps to cover the screw head. I would buy again for sure.

None of screw parts fit into each other. The chrome screw cap doesn’t snap into the washer, it’s larger and barely touches it when you put it over it. There are no instructions included either. So it’s not possible to use the screw caps, I had to use my own black screws with washers. The only part I could use is the frame itself, which is nice, but it covers the slogan on the bottom of the plate which is questionably not legal.
