Cool product; My expeience installing and using the screen
The screen offers excellent value and quality for its price. It was easy to set up and install and it connected to Apple CarPlay & Android Auto with no issues. I tested the screen in my car and then installed it in my friend’s car. The sellers are super responsive; I contacted them to send a picture for the login screen, and they responded quickly with clear instructions. Now the screen shows Mitsubishi’s logo on the vehicle start, making it look more polished and professional. Anyways, here’s a detailed overview of some points if you are considering buying a screen for your car:- Hardware installation: The package comes with a suction cup mount that has a strong adhesive. I mounted it first on the windshield and drove for a while. However, the mounting arm blocked part of the camera’s field of view, so I repositioned it on the dash to ensure that the arm extends downward instead of upward toward the windshield; regardless, the camera still provided a good picture (*images show both installations and a preview of the dash cam). The mount is sturdy, and the screen does not shake when I drive on bumps, but you need to make sure to install the suction cup correctly on a smooth, flat surface. Another note on mounting: as shown in the images, the screen comes with a three-leg mounting arm; however, for the final installation on the dash, I removed one of the links to ensure it sits flat with the screen positioned directly in front of the suction cup. My advice is to loosen all screws and play with it until you are satisfied with the camera position and the looks, then remove the adhesive protection and apply it permanently. If that does not work, try removing one link and see if it works; every car is different.- Connectivity: It was easy to connect and compatible with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. I noticed that using my phone, the Apple interface is zoomed in and fills the screen, whereas Android Auto is more zoomed out. I looked it up, and it seems it’s a fixed feature of the software, and Apple does not allow changing the magnification (not sure about Android). The screen is responsive, as you see in the video, and does the job for navigating the map and other stuff; I mostly use it for directions.- Audio: I connect it via Bluetooth to the car stereo and to the screen; it works with no issues. It has other audio options, such as the built-in speaker or an Aux cable, but I have not tried them.- Camera: It comes with both a front dash cam and a back reverse camera. Since both cars had a reverse camera, I did not install that one, but the front dash cam is clear and has a wide field of view; it records every 1 or 2 min to the included 64 Gb SD card, records audio and video, and you can access the footage via an app or directly reading from the card.- Other points: The screen also came with a rubber protective case and connects to power using a USB-C to 12 V connector on the car. Although my friend’s car only has one 12-volt port that he uses to charge his phone, and he has a 3-port charging adapter, so we ended up using a USB cable to the existing adapter instead of using the adapter in the box, such that he can charge his phone and connect to the screen, it worked! ‘fingers crossed.’All in all, I am satisfied; it’s a very cool upgrade. Highly recommend this one!

Affordable way to retrofit an older car for Apple Carplay or Android Auto. Cameras are a plus.
This is a review of the EOYAA 8-Inch Portable Screen for Carplay and Android Auto. This screen comes with a 4K front camera and a 1080P backup camera. I have a 2010 Acura TSX. This model came with bluetooth capabilities, but no Apple Carplay or Android Auto. I was always jealous of the new cars with their fancy screens and backup cameras. I did not think I could have that capability in my old car, until I found this technology.First, Amazon delivery was very quick. I received the unit in one day. Installation took a while because I had to install the rearview camera and run the cables to the front of the car. The backup camera has to be connected to the positive lead of the car’s backup lights. This makes it possible for the unit to switch to backup camera mode as soon as you put your car in reverse.Otherwise, installation was easy. It was also easy to connect the unit to my phone using bluetooth. Besides having access to my phone’s Carplay functions, I am very happy with the front and backup cameras. The 4K front and 1080P rear cameras show crisp, clear images – even at night. The unit also continuously records the feed from both cameras in case you need the recordings later (it allows you to lock recordings to keep them in case you need them in the case of, say, an accident).Overall, this unit works very well. I only have to small quibbles with it: one is the position of the arm that holds the unit to the dashboard. You can see the arm in the front camera display. It is not a big deal since the camera’s wide angle still captures what is happening in front of your car. The other issue is that, although there is a setting to lower the screen brightness, the lowest brightness setting is still too bright to drive at night. Fortunately, you can use the screen saver option to turn off the display after 30, 60, or 180 seconds. The screen turns off after the time you select, but it will wake up if you go in reverse, touch the screen, or if there is a message or call coming in.I would recommend this portable screen.

Great screen but don’t like the stand
The screen quality is great. A little too bright at night for my liking. Works smoothly, a bit laggy in the beginning. Works with Apple Intelligence. Didn’t set up the backup camera since I already have one on my default screen and I also carry dash cams on both sides. Big dislike on the tripod. In general, tripods from any brand are any good unfortunately. I will try magnet tripods and see how that goes.

Huge Upgrade to Cars Without Infotainment Systems
This screen is amazing for cars that don’t have CarPlay. Super easy to set up, connects wirelessly in seconds, and the 8” display is bright and clear. The dash cam and 1080p backup camera are huge bonuses, and the audio through Bluetooth/FM works perfectly. Feels like a brand-new tech upgrade for my car—worth every penny!

Amazing Apple car play unit!
Amazing unit, does a fantastic job at making my old truck new again with Apple car play, dash cam and rear view camera. I love having this, makes road trips much more fun. Install was very simple, just plug and play and mount the unit however you’d like. Very durable and looks great, super bright screen that auto adjusts, and quickly auto connects to my phone. Scrolling with the touch screen is flawless, live feed of rear camera, and they can change the boot logo if you email them! I highly recommend it this product! Thank you!
