Why did you pick this product vs others?:I love these shades. They have worked so well to keep the light of the sun out of the truck. I suffer from migraines and this has worked soooo well. 1 small problem is that if… I want to go through a drive thru to order something I have to open my door to remove the screen, once done I open the door back again to place the screen back. That…. I definitely donttt like because it irritates me having to do that when I want to go through a drive thru & that’s also to the ATM.

These window shades work well and are cut rather well. The front shades fit perfectly and the rears are 80% there, I just think those ones are cut a little too large given how far the sit at the top. Nonetheless, I am able to fit these around the window frame and rather close to the window.This set of shades came with tons of standard plastic holders which I believe have 2 sided 3M tape, so you can easily replace and reuse those connectors in case they don’t stick the first time around (I’ve had a similar set of shades in my old CRV and just bought a roll of 3M double sided tape to keep reusing the connectors). There are additional precut adhesive pads for those connectors and there are adhesive velcro strips for areas around the window where the shade won’t sit perfectly flush. I like to place the window shade to the window first and see which areas need support. The frame itself is magnetic and should stick to the window frame in some areas. You should then be able to identify 1 or 2 points which can be secured with those adhesive items above.The front shades have the folding front part which connects the back part via a magnet mounted on both parts. My only complaint is that the front part’s magnet has a small cylinder magnet which sits in the back parts female magnet and can be rather tough to get it to connect easily. Sometimes it takes some rubbing the two parts of the shade together to get the magnets mate properly. Once they are connected, they do feel very tight and sturdy, making the side mirrors visible and safe driving possible.During normal driving, usually the top of the window shade is sandwiched between the door weather seal and the car frame, but it’s not too tight at all. The shades are held in by the connectors and velcro strips very securely once mounted properly. In other words, these shades won’t move at all during driving or opening/closing of the doors. You still are able to see out of the windows clearly but these do help limit the light coming in. Not sure about how effective they are with preventing heat. They do make the windows darker though and for reference my front tints are 35% and the rear tints are 15%. My older window shades for my CRV were of this exact same mesh and magnetic metal material and they lasted forever, so I’m confident these will be similar.If they could just make those small tweaks I mentioned above, these would be perfect. They are however practically almost there and I would definitely recommend getting these.
