Withheld extremely high heat we have been having in NJ lately I was looking for something that would help keep my son’s car seat from being scorching hot when trying to put him in. My son would often tell me “hot” when putting him in his seat and this was not okay. I unfortunately do not have automatic start in my car so I could not just cool it off before we were going withing making an entire trip out to the car & back into the house (not always reasonable with a toddler). I found this product and thought it to be reasonably priced and figured I would try it. We have a Nuna Revv that is a bit lager than some other carseats to I was concerned it would not fit. IT FITS! it is a great fit and so far is working amazing! It’s simple to use and does help the carseat from getting hot! The carseat is significant cooler to the touch than other parts of the car! I am so happy with this product!

Very easy.
Baby car seats are the worst to figure out (for me anyway). This is so easy to just slip over my grandsons car seat. It keeps his car seat cool and comfortable. I quickly ordered two more, one for my kids car and the other for their other grandmother.

Well made and works great
I sold my motorcycle to get a cheap convertible we could enjoy as a family. The Chicco KidFit seat for the toddler is black so I got this to both keep it cooler but also protect from any random, malicious birds that might fly by when it’s parked with the top down. I’d say it works perfectly well – it’s super easy to put on, and it goes around all the sides perfectly fine. The elastic is strong, so it’s not flying off easily while parked. I’m pretty sure it would be fine, but I’m not going to test driving with it on and the top down since it’s like a blobby silver mirror that might blind everyone near me. If you want to drive with it on, get one of the colors. I’d say it’s absolutely worth every penny to avoid bird poop!

Fit was adequate, but doesn’t work as well as hoped
While this did fit my daughter’s carseat well, it does not completely prevent it from being too hot for her to get right into. I did not have the fit issues most other reviews stated. I live in Western NC and it’s not FL hot where I grew up but my car sure feels like it sometimes, and with a black carseat, I had higher hopes. I will say that it does keep the metal buckles/pieces from being so hot they hurt my daughter. All that said, I still turn on the car and cool it off for around the same amount of time as I did before buying this item. It’s price isn’t bad if you’d like a little bit of help, but ultimately, it does not do what it claims. We did not return it though and still use it.

Not universal fit at all.
I have had a car seat sun protector before and it was awesome, somehow I lost it when it came to storing summer items away last year. I got this one thinking it would be perfect since it shows that it should fit the car seat my daughter is in (forward facing with headrest raised just like pictured) but when I just attempted to put it on my daughter’s car seat, it didn’t fit at all! My car seat is a graco 3 in 1 SlimFit, yet trying to put this cover on, it didn’t even stretch WIDE enough to cover side to side. That alone doesn’t even make sense because it’s literally one of the slimmest car seats. I am disappointed for sure and will be returning. For those leaving reviews saying it fits, I would love to see how it fits with the car seats y’all are using because I am confused.

My daughter’s baby seat would become very hot when left in the car under direct sunlight. I ordered this product because it is the only option I found for this type of product.I’ll be honest: my first reaction when unpacking this was “Wow! This looks and feels cheap!”. It feels really thin and wrinkly, and I really thought it would tear during its first use, but we’ve used it dozens of times and it’s still going strong with no signs of wear. We actually fold it and leave it in the bottom of the trunk between uses.It doesn’t do miracles, obviously, but it definitely does what it’s supposed to do: it keeps the baby seat cooler than it would be if left directly in the sun and it keeps the metal parts from becoming blistering hot.The pictures are pretty accurate. For the price, this is a fair product! I just wouldn’t expect it to last forever.

Es un buen producto. Yo lo compré porque vivo en área de mucho calor y para cubrir la silla de mi hijo está perfecto. Lo único que podrían decir en la descripción es el tamaño porque hay sillas de diferentes tamaños y cuesta un poco ponerla porque está casi exacta de tamaño.
