Waist of money!!! It blocks 0 sunlight.. it’s more like a net. I ordered it for the car that my sun takes it for practice. When he opened it he said what do you need the net for.. I’m so disappointed!!!

Useful for kids stuck in car seats
This 4 pack of window shades is affordable and helpful. They’re made of thin mesh which stretch to fit most standard car and truck windows. They’re made well and truly do keep out insects and the sun’s rays while driving. Not sure how long they will last before I put a hole in one, but they’re durable so far. I chose them to help my toddler not be upset while stuck in the car seat with the sun in her face.

Surprisingly good
Okay, you’re doubtful. So was I. The ad photos show this lovely, snug fit…it fits over a door, sure, but not that seamlessly. (At least on a Kia Soul.) There’s some bunching and sag at the base. The mesh is see-through, and doesn’t obscure driving vision at all, even providing a bit of shade, which was nice. Driving beneath heavy tree-cover with some serious leaf-fall…the mesh kept leaves and debris out of the car. It’s currently too cold for me to judge about insects, but we’ll see. In the meanwhile, the construct seems good, and they’ve withstood 2 weeks of repeated use, with opening/closing car doors and removal at night/replacement by day.A decent price if you drive window down as much as I do…and can resist the urge to stick your arm out of the window.

A unique solution to a problem I didn’t think could be solved so easily
So I gave this a shot and I wasn’t really sure how I felt about putting it on my vehicle as I’ve never seen anyone driving around with anything similar but I figured if I’m going to go out on a trip through the woods where we have these flies and mosquitoes and stuff that can come brazenly through the window this might be an enjoyable thing to do well after some deliberation I found that this would actually be useful so I finally put them on I was delighted to find that it not only blocked some of the sun’s rays which made the driving experience much more pleasant than I expected it to be and I had full visual clarity the entire time but it stopped anything from coming in and I felt more confident than ever that this is actually a worthwhile idea ultimately I feel like they’re pretty durable and I was pretty satisfied to see that they were not becoming torn or worn down by using the doors against them and therefore I feel like they provide an excellent value
