Item works fine albeit a slight delay during startup
I got this item since I got sick and tired of plugging in my phone every time I had use Android Auto. There were times that I forgot to take my phone with me when I got out of the car. This works great for me now since I don’t have to take my phone out of my pocket.The setup was not very straightforward but not that difficult either. You need to pair it to your phone via Bluetooth after plugging in this device into the USB port that is for Android Auto(or CarPlay). Also you need to make sure that your WiFi is enabled. The first time it loads on your screen it first asks for enabling your device for CarPlay. Since I use Android Auto I selected Skip or something like that. I was wondering if I got the wrong device when it came back and asked me if I want to enable for Android Auto and I said yes. It worked just fine after that. Subsequent trips it does take a few seconds like upto 5 seconds to load Android Auto which is not a big deal for me but something to keep in mind. One time it didn’t load I verified that both my Bluetooth and WiFi was on and it started working.Overall it serves my purpose of not taking my phone out every time I drive and I have Android Auto. I did not lower a star for the slight delay in the startup since it doesn’t bother me. I recommend this item to anyone who wants to use CarPlay or Android Auto without going through the hassle of taking the phone out every time you drive.

Wireless connection perfection!
This device is great! Easy set up on the car. We had to make sure our phones connected work Android Auto through the cable before plugging in the device. After we figured that out, the device connected seamlessly. We’ve connected 2 phones and just have to tell the car who to connect to. Definitely a good value for the price.It also comes with 2 cords to connect the device to harder to reach locations.

Low profile and a great connection
It takes a little bit of time to connect. It probably takes up to a minute. Once it’s connected, I haven’t had any problems with it staying connected. I have had it less than a month so I am not sure how long it will last. This is the third brand that I have tried and I love that it’s so low profile in the car. I feel that it will last longer that way.

Holy Grail for Mazda CX-3 – After-Market Wireless Android Auto Adapter
If you’ve driven a Mazda CX-3, you know there are some major flaws – possibly dealbreakers. If you found yourself owning one anyway, and also got the after-market Android Auto installed, but are still dealing with annoying bendy and fraying cords, then this is the holy grail…for that one very specific issue.First, as mentioned, you need to already have the Android Auto installed, both to the car, and to your phone. This does not come with it – it’s just a tool that will help you to wirelessly connect to it. If you’ve already found a way around that, lucky you! I had not, and was plugging and unplugging my phone into the white cord (see photos), and then finding that any time my fraying cord jiggled just the wrong way, I’d lose connection, losing music, phone audio, navigation, and everything else. It was enough of a problem that I had started to look at buying a new car.Folks, I’m here to talk you down from buying a new car – if it’s only about the wired connection issue. This gadget has saved the day! It’s tiny, and comes with 2 additional adapter cords, just in case they’re needed – but they were unnecessary in my case. The two black cords pictured come with it. (The white cord is my old one – no longer needed!)The setup was very quick and easy, too. The instructions have a QR code that I didn’t use, but might make it even faster. I plugged in the dongle adapter thing, then saw the prompt on my car’s display screen with instructions for pairing. I followed the instructions by going to the Bluetooth settings on my phone and allowing access to the device named on the display. My phone gave a digital code that wasn’t on the screen, but I just said yes and it moved on to finishing the setup. I’ve been using it daily ever since, and it has been the smallest but possibly most impactful change in recent memory.I no longer have to worry about the cord popping out while I’m in the middle of needing navigation, or losing audio while my favorite song is on because I hit a bump. This adapter has been very reliable, and although it seems to cycle through different light colors on the square adapter plug (green, blue, red, purple-ish), it doesn’t seem to lose connection, and I couldn’t tell you what those mean. Maybe it’s in the instructions and I missed it.I’m beyond thrilled with the simplicity of this gadget. It takes up zero additional space – in fact, less than the cord I was previously using for the same purpose – and has made my commute infinitely more tolerable.

Works as it should! Very resourceful especially when traveling. Can be used on rentals as well, in case you have issues connecting this will take care of that. In short it offers peace of mind. It is very small so it wont take up space at all. Connects with ease. Very small display screen.Honestly it’s worth it especially if you travel or have an older car. I believe this one works with 2016 to present vehicles. I have a 2020 Pathfinder but travel frequently. Hence, I use rentals periodically. Highly recommend.

Ich nutze den Adapter seit einigen Wochen mit einem Kia Rio IV, der sonst nur kabelgebundenes Android Auto und Carplay unterstützt.Die Einrichtung war super einfach und war innerhalb weniger Minuten sowohl für ein iPhone 12 als auch ein Poco X5 Android Smartphone erledigt.Die Verbindung wird innerhalb weniger Sekunden hergestellt und ist bisher durchgängig stabil. Der Adapter merkt sich die letzte Verbindung und stellt die automatisch neu her sobald ich das Auto entriegele. Der Wechsel von Android Auto zu Carplay und zurück ist unkompliziert.Der Adapter selbst ist zudem echt kein und fällt kaum auf, höchstens durch die LED, die die Verbindung anzeigt.Insgesamt bin ich sehr zufrieden. Einfach einsteigen, Handy bleibt in der Hosentasche, Musik über Spotify hören und per Google Maps navigieren, auch Sprachbefehle sind weiterhin nutzbar.

Kein Kabel mehr das zu kurz ist oder zu lang und stört.Der Dongle überzeugt auch noch durch eine kurze Bauform, so dass der Adapter weniger übersteht, als allein der USB-Stecker aus der Buchse ragen würde.Super einfach und zuverlässige Verbindung.Dadurch dass nun der Adapter ständig stecken bleibt, muss ich mir auch keine mehr Gedanken machen , ob durch das ständige Aus- und Einstecken des USB-Kabels irgendwann der USB-Port am KFZ in Mitleidenschaft gezogen wird.Gerade wenn es dunkler wird, kann das schon mal Fummelei werden und das Einstecken klappt nicht immer auf Anhieb. Die Gefahr etwas zu verbiegen, einen Kurzschluss am Port zu produzieren sind gebannt.Bei meiner E-Klasse S213 ist der USB-Port für Android auch platzsparend aber dafür eben beengt verbaut.Die Investition hat sich nicht nur wegen dem Zeitvorteil gelöhntVon meiner Seite eine klare Kaufempfehlung – da passt alles … auch wenn ich keine anderen Adapter gekauft/getestet habe und somit keinen Vergleich anstellen kann – er tut was er soll und das tut er gut und unkompliziert

Ich habe mir den Adapter gekauft, weil mir die Kabelverbindung mit dem Handy ziemlich genervt hat (auch weil ich einen Wackelkontakt hatte). Ich habe mich dann recht schnell für den Adapter entschieden, da er sowohl Android als auch Apple abdecken kann und ich Android nutze, meine Freundin Apple – daher perfekte Wahl.Die Bewertungen waren auch gut und was soll ich sagen, sie stimmen! Die Einrichtung lief problemlos bei mir und das Gerät verbindet sich sofort, teilweise sogar bevor ich es geschafft habe, richtig einzusteigen. Mir gefällt das super, da ich mir keinen Aufwand mehr machen muss und die Übertragung funktioniert ebenfalls einwandfrei, ich merke keinerlei Latenz und alle Funktionen die ich benötige (Maps, Telefonie, Apps wie Audible/Spotify) laufen super!Ich kann den Adapter daher nur empfehlen!

Der Mavlou CarPlay Adapter (Model: C3020B) funktioniert einwandfrei. Er wurde vom Auto sofort als CarPlay erkannt, noch bevor das Handy gekoppelt war.Auch im Regelbetrieb wird die Verbindung zum Handy automatisch hergestellt.Adapter nach Anleitung eingesteckt, Bluetooth Kopplung ging problemlos.CarPlay war direkt im Auto aktiv und nutzbar. Die WLAN Verbindung hat etwas länger gedauert, war dann aber nach einiger Zeit erfolgreich.Fahrzeug: Kia Ceed, 2025Die Logik bei den farbigen LED Blink- oder Leucht-Signalen habe ich noch nicht durchschaut. Die blaue LED ist extrem grell.Über das WLAN des Adapters kann man eine Konfigurations-Seite aufrufen, auf der verschiedene Einstellungsmöglichkeiten bestehen, mit Erklärungen (teilweise ist die deutsche Übersetzung nicht ganz schlüssig) dazu und die Möglichkeit ein Problem zu melden oder die Firmware zu aktuallisieren. Grundsätzlich gut gelöst, auch wenn sich die Details zu manchen Einstellungen nicht unbedingt immer erschließen. Aber solange das Teil problemlos läuft, bleibt es bei den Standardeinstellungen.Nachdem hier auf meine Frage nach Kompatibilität nur unsinnige Antworten kamen (was soll eine Antwort von jemanden, der weder einen Kia noch das betreffende Modell fährt?) hab ich eine Nachricht vom Hersteller bekommen, der mir die Kompatibilität bestätigt hat.Zu Android Auto kann ich mangels passenden Smartphone nichts sagen. War für mich beim Kauf des Adapters auch nicht relevant.

Lässt sich leicht installieren. Funktioniert im großen und ganzen zuverlässig.Wenn es mal Verbindungsprobleme gibt kurz abziehen und dann wieder einstecken ,dann geht’s wieder.
