The stability of the upgraded version of 2026 is really good. The actual measurement is that the connection is very stable during driving, and there is no disconnection. The sound quality loss is almost inaudible, and the high-fidelity sound effect of the original car is still online. The positioning of map navigation is also very accurate. What I am most satisfied with is its heat control, and it is only slightly warm after long-term use. Recommended for car lovers who want to experience the original factory wireless.

Useful adapter, but only for wired CarPlay
I got this up hoping it would let me use CarPlay through a USB-AUX input, but it turns out it only works with cars that already have wired CarPlay. So for my setup it isn’t as helpful as I hoped. I haven’t seen a car that’s wired-only if it has CarPlay, so it won’t change much for me right now. On the plus side, it comes with a USB to USB-C adapter that I can put to use elsewhere, so it’s not a total loss. Build and feel seem solid, and it should work fine for anyone with a compatible wired CarPlay system. Only small downside is that it won’t create wireless CarPlay for cars that don’t already support it. So be aware when getting the item. It does not create a CarPlay system.

Easy to connect but very unstable
This was decent, but could use some improvementPackaging: item arrived in a small box.Style: cute orange color! I love the slim form factor. This is easy to travel with and lays pretty flush against the rental car’s dash.Connectivity: initial connection was super easy and straightforward – connect via Bluetooth and you’re all set. Issues came from continued use. The screen had a tendency to freeze if my phone locked due to inactivity – really bad for navigation. Siri worked well, but phone calls did not. The instructions were a little unclear on the indication lights. This thing lit up like a Christmas tree but the instructions don’t necessarily say which color is what.

Easy install. Rock solid performance since the install (2019 Audi S5)
I have a 2019 Audi S5 that pre-dates wireless CarPlay/Android Auto (I have an iPhone). Over the years I’ve grown tired of having to connect/disconnect a wired connection every time I get in/out of the car. I ordered this device to convert to wireless CarPlay. I was skeptical of how well it might work. In a word, it’s worked flawlessly since installing it (over a week now).The connection process was so simple. There is no app to download or account required (thank you). While sitting in my car with the car running I simply removed the device from the box and plugged it in to the cars USB port without reading any directions. The car’s display screen then asked me to approve the connection which I did. I then completed the Bluetooth connection on my phone and that was it. The setup process was relatively quick and continues to be rock solid. All CarPlay functions (maps, music, etc.) work great. I’ve been using it for over a week now and it connects automagically every time I get in my car. I am very happy with this product. It’s great not having to connect/disconnect a USB cable every time I get in and out of the car. Not to mention just having to keep a cable out and ready on the center console all the time. Now I can get in and out of the car and just leave my mobile in my pocket if I’d like. It has just connected every time without fail.The physical device itself is very small (see photos). The aluminum body makes it seem of a high quality. The very small size makes it easily overlooked when installed which I really like. The box includes a USB A to USB C adapter (shown in photos) which I did not need (my car has a USB A port on the center console). When powered on, the device has a very soft integrated light that rotates through various colors while its operating. Not important to me but it looks fine and isn’t overly bright.Overall I am extremely pleased with the operation of this device. It seems like a very cost effective opeion and and one that I can easily recommend it at this point.

Works great, initial pairing is slow, but after that reconnect is fast
This carplay adapter works as they say it does. The initial pairing was slow and you have to watch on your screen. You’ll see a ID code for what the Bluetooth will show up as. I did note that although I got a pairing code for digit on my phone, I did not get it on the display which was a little odd.Once the initial pairing is done and it’s all set up, reconnect is very quick. I compared it to one of my other ones and they’re about the same. Maybe a few seconds. I do like the fact that it’s an aluminum shell. I don’t know how hot my other one gets, but it would be nice to have some heat dissipation and I think the aluminum shell will do nicely. I particularly like the orange but it might not go with your car’s interior. They do provide a USB a to USBC adapter but that will make it stick out about 3/4 of an inch.If you do have USBC in your car and that’s what you’re going to be using it for, definitely get a USBC version and not this one. I got this because I travel and it’s nice to be able to have both depending on which car I get as a rental.

Works great for apple products
Quickly connects to the car through oem radio usb that normally would connect to the iPhone for car play. Worked the first time seamlessly flyer following the directions (which were a bit confusing). Says it works with android auto a well but haven’t tested it with that — I’ve heard android phones can be finicky so I’m hoping to try it out on a friends AA stereo before I give it 5 stars. Much more convenient than constantly plugging in the cord (although the cord never fails to start CarPlay)…
