I had to use my booster to boost my truck battery just a few days ago, and it performed very well, I was surprised at how easily it boosted my truck , because alot of the time products are hyped up, but this was not the case. It is a great product and well worth the cost. I would advise anyone to purchase this booster to have on hand in case of an emergency.

Acdual use device
This unit represents a good compromise, between pure ultra capacitor versions that have no internal battaries and larger size units that potentially have higher capacity ultra capacitors and larger lithium ion batteries. The former ones relay on the remaining capacity of the partly discharge battaries to charge the ultra capacitors which actually jump start engines while the latter ones use internal battaries. In my case the use is double fold: for jump starting in case of emergencies and for running electronics while biking. I tested both. The unit had no problems starting a V8 with battery partly discharged, and was capable of topping off a bike mounted camera along with an advanced Garmin computer for 3 plus hours while only consuming 10% of battery capacity. It was also neatly kept in a larger size frame mounted bag on the bike.

I’ve got an old Chevy. It’s actually a 1995 3/4 ton with a 5.7L motor. It’s no joke. My starter is going bad and so when I go to start it in the 0 degree weather that we have up here in AK, it sucks a lot of juice from my battery and usually I don’t have enough battery power and need a jump. I have been quite pleased with my 4000mhA WOLFBOX. It has started my old truck 5 times in one day and still had over 50% of the battery life left. Quite pleased.I have yet to figure out why it won’t start a side post 12v though. I brought it along when I went to help a friend. He needed a jump start. When we hooked it up to his side post 12v……nothing. I ended up having to get the old fashion jumper cables with my truck on that one. I tried to jump another side post in another vehicle and….nothing. Like the jump box wouldn’t recognize that I hooked it up. I don’t get it. I also tried to jump another newer vehicle and there was nothing until I pushed the boost button. I am still rating this WOLFBOX with 4/5 stars. It’s alright with two thumbs up!!

Worked great on dead (3V) battery
MegaVolt24, 4000A.This thing works and was easy to use. The length of the jumper wires are pretty short, so depending on where the connections to the positive / negative terminals are under your hood, you may need extension jumper cables (proceed at own risk).Day 1: due to single digit Fahrenheit weather, the 12V battery of my 2020 Rav4 gas/hybrid (2.5L, V4 engine) dropped low enough to prevent the engine from starting and the dash from turning on. I wasn’t able to use another car to jump it, so I ordered this portable charger. I figured $120 was way cheaper than AAA or a tow – plus I can use this again and again.Day 2: the battery was so dead I couldn’t even unlock the car with the key fob. Not great.Day 3: this device arrived, pre-charged to 72% (the manual says >50% is needed for a jump) but using the included wall plug & USB-C cable, it charged it up to 100% within 30-45 minutes or so. I probed my car battery and it was dead dead, at 3V and change. I connected the MegaVolt24 to the terminals, it started beeping and indicated “Low Battery” on the display. Based on that, the manual told me I needed to hit the “boost” button on the charger for 2s, then start the car. And bingo, it got the engine going! I drove the car a little but had to jump it again after parking and the total charge of the MegaVolt24 went from 100% to 90% after two jumps.I’ll likely need to replace the battery but this portable jump charger is super handy. Though I’d recommend against leaving it in the car throughout winters & summers as the internal Lithium Ion batteries should stay between -4F and 140F, but will hold their capacity longer if kept around room temperature.

Excellent little device
This little device is absolutely great. Not too heavy, and small enough that I can use it myself with no problems (I’m a 68 year old female with several physical issues). I live in Michigan and the first time I used it, the weather was at around 2 degrees (feels like temp was -5) and my car battery was dead (original from 2019). Trying to get another car close enough to jump start it would have been difficult, but I didn’t have anyone around at the time anyway. This was so easy to use – it took me 3 minutes to read the instructions, and 5 minutes more to start my car – no other car or road service needed. It comes in a really nice zipper case that holds everything. I will not be without this device in my car at all times. Love it.

Témoignage utile pour ceux qui se posent encore la question sur la qualité du produit. Packaging impeccable avec étui, booster compact, cables batterie et chargeur mural USB C. Le booster était à 76% au déballage, recharge en 15 min pour atteindre 100%. Je l’ai immédiatement testé sur mon SUV : une Volvo XC90 D5 2.0 Diesel de 235cv de 2018 dont la batterie était totalement à plat après le coup de froid de la semaine dernière. J’avais précédemment tenté de la démarrer avec des cables et une autre voiture sans succès. Il était même impossible d’ouvrir les portes sans la clé de secours. J’ai connecté le booster, le signal low battery a clignoté et j’ai donc activé le mode boost. J’ai lancé le moteur qui a démarré instantanément. Le booster n’a consommé que 12% de batterie pour démarrer. Remarquable d’efficacité à ce prix là et à avoir définitivement dans son coffre pour son propre véhicule ou pour dépanner un ami !!!
