These are hefty, well-made mud guards, but hear me out……….
So, I bought a new 2024 Ford F-250 Lariat and wanted to add high-end mud guards. This is not my first time doing this.I did my research of the available options. I had previously used Weather Tech and those are great products, but to me they just were not visually hefty enough for my larger truck (larger than my previous trucks).The LUVERNE guards are indeed hard to beat in appearance and “beef”. They were perfectly configured for my vehicle and only required MINIMAL drilling, but only after you have them rough-mounted in place in factory-configured holes which makes it difficult to make an error. **Just be sure to follow the directions in step-by-step order.**However, there is a “BUT”.These guards are quality and are priced accordingly. They are not cheap.BUT– I have never understood why a company will produce a quality product for consumer installation and then provide you with inferior hardware to save a few dollars.Yes, the instructions caution you to not overtighten the bolts they provide. What they fail to mention is the ALUMINUM BOLT FASTENERS will bend and break as they heat up during the installation of the nylon lock nuts.So often I find myself throwing away the hardware provided and upgrading in advance. In this case I did not use my best judgement and attempted to install -4- mud guards with the provided hardware. Obviously, the hardware must be weather and rust proof. In the middle of my installation, -5- of the aluminum bolts broke in half. So, I stopped and went out to purchase stainless steel BOLTS AND LOCK NUTS.My advice to you readers is do yourself a favor and do that before you start the project!Otherwise, these mud guards look and perform great!

The flap is good. The hardware is not.
The mud flap is nice. The hardware is the issue. They give you aluminum bolts that break easily. I broke the first two and then contacted them. They were not helpful and will make it very difficult for you to return these. I needed to go by my old hardware and modify the bracket to work. Purchase another one.

I have this 4 stars even though I had to return them. The directions that came with the mud guards were not for my truck even though I went through the manufacture website to verify fitment. I have purchased these in the past for other trucks and they are amazing. Easy to install. Very Durable. Wish they would have fit my truck.
