Finally! Wireless CarPlay that works and works well, exceeds expectations
Finally makes the wireless charging tray useful (and no lag!)I picked up the USB-C version of this adapter for my electric Volvo. Like many modern cars, mine has CarPlay, but it’s wired only. It always felt a bit off to have a built-in wireless charging tray but still have to plug in a cord to use the screen. It really defeats the purpose of a wireless interior.I’ve resisted these adapters for a while because I prefer to avoid bulk, and I’ve heard stories about call lag. But after seeing how small this one was, I figured it was time to see if the tech had finally caught up.The Build & Design:First off, this thing is tiny. It’s less than an inch square and maybe a half-inch deep—basically a small cube with a USB plug. Unlike many of the plastic options out there, this actually has some weight to it. It feels like solid metal, which is a nice touch and matches a high-end car interior much better than a basic plastic dongle. It’s small enough that it doesn’t block the second USB-C port next to it, which is a huge plus.Setup:The instructions were very straightforward. I’m using an iPhone, so I just paired it via Bluetooth, authorized CarPlay on the car’s screen, and was in business. There’s a light ring around the device that stays red while it’s searching and turns green once connected.One Small Detail I Loved: Once the connection is solid and CarPlay is active, the light actually turns off. Great if you don’t have wireless connection in your vehicle
To this little device will wirelessly connect your phone to your vehicle if you can’t get Apple CarPlay, or android wirelessly on your car. Nowadays, that’s pretty rare, but I have seen it on some cars. The unit was really small and easy to set up. Durability and value for money seemed good and it provides you with all the functionality that you would actually get with Apple CarPlay. One point a note is that is actually USB-C, which really means that it goes on most modern cars for that reason the requirement for the device is pretty limited.

Compact Wireless Carplay and Android Auto
Converts your wired CarPlay (CP) and Android Auto (AA) to wireless connection. If your car stereo does wire CP or AA, then this device will make it wireless. It connects over Bluetooth and the process is very easy. Simply plug this adapter into your car USB port and go to Bluetooth settings on your phone and look for the Bluetooth ID VEO, pair it to your phone and you’re done.Side note: Only certain USB ports on your car will handle data transfer. Usually, its 1 or 2 ports near the car stereo dash or it could be in your glove box. My Lexus 2020 RX USB data port is in the glove box.This device is comparable to other popular brand like Carlinkit. Wireless CP its very responsive and fast on this device. There was no latency/lag issue compared to using my wired CP connection. It’s a very small device, see photos for comparison to US quarter. Last photo shows the device connected to my car in the glove box. This is very compact and does not block my secondary USB port. Highly recommend and its less expensive than the branded names.
