Neatly fit, but narrow on the wrap around portion
Almost perfectly tight fit.The only reason it is not 5* is that I hope the black wrap around on the rear side of the tire can extend an inch or two deeper towards the rim.

Fits a 34″-35″ tire? I don’t think so!
This tire cover looks great and appears to be well made. That being said, I struggled for half an hour trying to put this on my spare tire and finally gave up. It just won’t fit. To put it into context, the tire is a Nitto Ridge Grappler size 295/60R20. According to Nitto’s own website, this tire has a diameter of 33.94 inches, inflated. Also, the tire isn’t new and has about 75% of its original tread left. So, if you’re considering this cover, take their recommended fitment with a grain of salt. If you do get it and your tire is 34″ or greater, hunker down for a fight. And be sure to pack an extra serving of patience.Meanwhile, I’m torn between returning it and replacing the elastic cord with a length of rope to see if I can get any use out of it. Bottom line is I still need a tire cover. I just don’t know if I can modify this one and make it work.Update: I decided to give it one more try, and the elastic cord broke. I wad so close too. The good news is the cover does in fact fit. Now I just have to replace the cord with something to secure the cover. I threaded some 550 cord into it temporarily and ordered 3 different sizes of elastic cord, hoping to find something that will work.It’s too bad the manufacturer didn’t think to add a little extra cord so the fit could be adjusted accordingly. As it stands. The cover still gets only 3 stars from me. And that’s being generous considering the added work and expense this is costing me.Final update (hopefully)So I ordered 3 different sizes of bungee cord to address this dilemma. Turns out the 1/4″ diameter cord (the largest of the three) worked best in this situation. I went with this after snapping the original cord. I figured 1/4″ would be the strongest, if I could make it fit. After snaking it into the cover, I cut it to length, giving myself extra cord to work with. I use shrink wrap to secure the ends, stretched it for tension and tied both ends into a knot. I did have to adjust the tension a couple of times. I was looking to make it snug enough to hold the cover taut while still allowing it to be installed and removed easily. I’m happy to report my fix has been working for me so far.I’ve chosen to leave my rating untouched. The cover itself is a “5”, but the additional cost, time and effort to make it work cannot be overstated. If you have a spare that’s 33″ or larger, consider this cover carefully. You might get lucky and have enough stretch in the elastic cord to get this on your tire, but I wouldn’t count on it.
