Accurate Speed Display
The speed data is collecting from GPS satellites, the original car dashboard speed is from car engine ( tyre revolution ), therefore, the HUD speed should be a bit different from your car dashboard speed. However, it has the same working logistic as the speeding radar.

Simple to use & easy to view.
UPDATE 8-13-2024: I still have this and it still works great. Accuracy is excellent. I don’t have any issues with brightness at night. Strongly recommended if you need one of these. (EOU) I absolutely love this HUD! It is easy to see. Bold bright green digits. Nothing else. No clutter. Set up is as easy as plugging the USB cord into a type A port in your vehicle and plugging the other end into the HUD. The cord is very long. The adhesive pad is very sticky but it’s the type of adhesive that you can remove an object from and still use both. As for accuracy, I noticed at higher speeds (about 55 mph) the HUD displayed maybe 1 mph faster than my vehicles speedometer but I am not sure which is correct, my vehicle or the GPS. A 1 or 2 mph reading is not enough to cause me to return this product. It is keeping me at the speed limits and moving in traffic safely so that’s what’s important to me. My vehicle speedometer is very difficult to read in the daylight. I found it necessary to modify the HUD a little by adding a “base” to it. When I first tried it out it would fall forward as I left a stopped position. I wasn’t using the sticky pad then because I hadn’t determined where I wanted to place the device yet. But I liked the location of the little tray on my dash and so I began testing it there. The base that I found was an approximately 2″ plastic lid, black in color, from one of my wifes makeup jars she had saved and let me have. I put the sticky pad in the center of the lid and then centered and attached the HUD to it. Tipping over problem solved! I have to route the cord still. I have adhesive clips to do that with. Be sure to follow the initial setup instructions carefully. When you first plug the device in, let it communicate with the satellite for initial GPS coordinates (I didn’t drive until the device was completely booted up). That data is “saved”, the manufacturer has told me. If you unplug it on another day for some reason, your initial coordinates are there when you power it up again and use it. I unplug mine and hide it so as not to tempt a thief into breaking into my vehicle and ransacking it. I don’t keep anything of value it my vehicle but I don’t want my window busted in either. A word about the temperature range. The manufacturer has told me that the range printed is celsius. So, that 70 degree high end range is about 160 degrees fahrenheit, which is about as hot as a closed up car will get normally. Vent the window. I have not noticed a “brightness” issue at night when using it but that may be because of my placement on the dash. But that would be an easy modification. A piece of film hanging in front of it. I like this unit because it just displays speed. There is no other car data to clutter it up, like my instrument cluster. It is portable. I saw what seemed to be identical HUD’s but I chose this Seller’s product because it was a “2023” model. Seemed current to me and some comments I had read about other similar products with faults from those users indicated an item needing better internal components. So, I paid $3 more for what I believe is an up-to-date product that suits my use. A word about product customer service. I have been in touch with the company (and seller, VJOYCAR) and their service is A+ rated in my opinion. They are prompt to reply and answer any questions. They are very polite. The product is made in China (as are most US goods). I am completely satisfied with this product. It is simple, it is easy AND it does the job. Highly recommended. Great solution to a bad speedometer.
This product works very well. The numbers are super clear and plenty big. It takes a minute or two to start working if youre in a remote area but thats to he expected. It was super easy to install.

Works most of the time. Sometimes while driving it will give you 2 dashes and stay that way. You have to unplug and plug it back in. The 90% of the time that it works, its great. Bright, clear, accurate as it needs to be. We put it in a classic car whose speedometer crapped out. Everyone wanted $600-800 MINIMUM to fix it. This did the trick for $16.

Accurate HUD easy to read
This unit is amazing, has its own on board GPS chip set so it’s stand along just plug the unit in and it works. I have Green display it very bright and large can be easily seen in the daylight. The GPS display comes with a USB cord can easily be plugged in to console or USB charger the charger is not included but most of us have one for the phone. I bought this so the speed could be easy to read it works great. I haven’t seen any lag in the display it very responsive and accurate.

Perfect for Japanese import cars with km/h speedometers!
I’ve been using this speedometer for about a year and a half now in our mini kei truck which has a km/h speedometer, and it’s been working great throughout all this time. The speed is very accurate and starts registering very quickly once moving. I love the compact size, different options for colors, and the added bonus of displaying a clock and direction of travel. It’s a great solution!

Bought this to use in an imported vehicle with only KPH after a few months of driving on vibes and feelings. It has worked perfectly fine. It sits on the dash exposed to whatever comes through the windshield. Works well and zero complaints.

It skips 10 MPH
It works well and appears to be very accurate but it will not display 10 MPH. It bounces between 9 and 11 MPH and I’ve never been able to get it to display 10 MPH although all other speeds increment by 1 MPH. This might not be a concern for many customers but I purchased it to be used for a boat and skipping 10 MPH is a problem for my application.

Easy and accurate
Great little speedometer. It’s accurate, within a 1-2 mph. I used it in my 2024 truck to compare its accuracy and it’s spot on. It might lag a little at points. Under heavy tree cover or bridges you lose connection momentarily but nothing to worry about. Very pleased with this. Would recommend
