After that, I stopped making any changes to the settings and just utilized the automobile. Over the course of time, it has been operating in the background: When I start the vehicle, the system responds by waking up, and CarPlay shows without my having to touch my phone first. For a Wi-Fi connection, it takes around fifteen to twenty-five seconds for it to connect in my vehicle, which is a fair amount of time. One of the most significant advantages is that it does not alter my routines while I am driving on a daily basis; all it does is eliminate the cable. The navigation system loads without any problems, my playlists continue playing, and the buttons on the steering wheel operate in the same manner as they do with wired CarPlay. Not the type of lag that causes you to wonder whether the tap really registered, but I do sometimes notice a tiny wait when skipping music or when audio shifts between applications. However, this delay is short and constant. Over the course of the last several weeks, I have had two beginnings in which the ball did not connect on the very first try. Unplugging the adapter and then inserting it back in was the solution to both of these problems, and after that, the adapter connected correctly. For me, once it is connected, it has remained steady even on longer rides, including a few trips that lasted more than an hour and during which I had navigation running continuously.
