Works great in my older car
My 2012 Honda Civic doesn’t have Bluetooth. I got this 1Mii thing to fix that problem. The aluminum feels heavy in your hand, which surprised me. I thought it would be plastic and cheap. The plug rotates 180 degrees, which helps because Honda put my aux port in this awkward spot where a straight plug would stick out weird.Took about 30 seconds to set up. Plug it in, turn it on, find it on my phone. Done. The connection holds even when my phone is in the back seat or buried in my purse. Both my wife and I can pair our phones to it at once. She doesn’t have to disconnect hers when I want to play something. When I start the car it connects by itself.Sound comes through my factory speakers fine. No delay between video and audio like I had with that FM transmitter I tried first. That thing was terrible. The microphone works okay for quick calls. My mom says she can hear me fine, but it sounds a little hollow. I wouldn’t take work calls on it.I charge this maybe every two weeks and I drive about 12-14 hours per week. The USB-C port charges fast, which is good because I’m tired of carrying around micro USB cables for everything. The little buttons on the side skip tracks and adjust volume. They’re small but they work. For what I paid this beats tearing apart my dashboard to install a new stereo. The factory radio still controls everything else and now I have wireless music.

Simple Bluetooth Fix for an Older Car
I picked this up mainly to add Bluetooth to an older car stereo that only has an AUX input. Setup was about as simple as it gets. I plugged the adapter into the AUX port, turned it on, and paired it with my phone. After that it connected quickly whenever I used it. Music streams clearly and the physical buttons are there for power and volume, but I never use them, and never really need to since it’s tucked away in the car. I just forget about it.The small design works well in a car environment. The rotating 3.5 mm plug helps it fit even when the AUX port is in a tight spot. I keep the unit connected to the car’s USB port for charging. The USB port shuts off when the car is off, but the adapter itself does not power down automatically. It stays on unless you switch it off, and it does not seem to enter a sleep mode on its own.Because of that the internal battery would probably drain if you left it sitting powered on for long periods. In my case it has not really been an issue since I only use it while the car is running. The built in battery feels more useful for someone using it with a portable speaker or home stereo where constant power is not available. For basic Bluetooth music in an older AUX equipped car it has been straightforward and easy to use.

Great Bluetooth AUX adapter for older cars — Five stars
I bought this 1Mii Bluetooth 5.4 receiver to add wireless audio and hands‑free calling to an older car stereo with a 3.5mm AUX input. Setup was simple, pairing was fast, and it’s been reliable on daily drives — clear audio, stable connection, and a useful built‑in mic for calls.Pro:- Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity — pairs quickly and stays stable across short and long drives.- Hands‑free calling with built‑in mic — calls are clear, and the controls make answering or ending calls easy.- Long battery life — the unit runs for many hours on a charge, so you don’t have to top it up every day.- Rotatable plug and compact design — the 180° rotatable plug fits neatly in tight spaces, and the aluminum casing feels solid.- Easy to use — physical controls for volume and track skipping are intuitive while driving.Con:- Requires occasional recharging — while battery life is long, you’ll still need to charge it periodically for continuous use.- May block adjacent ports — depending on your car’s AUX layout, the adapter’s size or angle could interfere with nearby sockets.- Not a replacement for modern head units — it’s a great retrofit, but won’t add features like CarPlay or Android Auto.Price‑to‑value:For adding wireless audio and hands‑free calling to a legacy AUX input, this receiver is an excellent value. It’s cheaper and less involved than replacing a head unit, and it reliably delivers the core features most people need.Overall:Five stars. If you want a simple, well‑built way to modernize an older car stereo with Bluetooth audio and clear hands‑free calling, this 1Mii receiver is an easy recommendation.
