    Worked well
Worked good, I wish they had a way to stay inside the bottom of the window because they kept moving around. That being said, they worked well on a long road trip with my kids. they covered the whole window and kept the sun away. Really easy to install, they magnet right to the car. They also come with a small case so you can easily fold them up and store in the car.

The fit is ok and they hang easily
Great way to get some privacy if you are needing to take a nap in the car either during the day or at night. I’m wishing the fit was a little better for my car, but the magnets are strong enough to make it work and it’s half way decent. I’m liking the storage back and how easy it is to set them up and take them down… easy to work with… I’m really wishing there was a larger one for the back window that would be ideal for a future version… but these are a good enough fit for me to be able to recommend them to others.

Pretty effective privacy in some cars, check measurements
Not so good for keeping the heat out and these are also not super simple to hang in every vehicle, but these are pretty good for giving privacy in some cars. You will still want/need front and rear window shades to achieve actual privacy. Again, do not expect these to keep the heat out. Obviously, if you can purchase a custom set of shades for your car, those would be much better for privacy and if they have the silver outer layer, they will help with keeping the heat out, but these are worth a try if you want to try something cheaper or cannot find sets made for you car’s year, make and model. I am giving them 4 stars because the price is low and they worked okay for our old car.

Good idea in theory, but it didn’t work for cooling down car interior.
The concept of these magnetic car window shades was appealing, but the actual use didn’t quite meet my expectations. Installation is quick if your windows’ door frame metals happen to be positioned correctly to hold onto the strong magnets on the curtain tops. So it didn’t work for me unfortunately but they can provide privacy when parked, but the material felt thin and not very durable.I was mainly hoping for some relief from the summer heat and keep the car shaded from the sun. But without the reflective side, they didn’t keep the car cooler. On my vehicle there were gaps near the mirrors, so full coverage wasn’t achieved. They aren’t suitable for driving since they shift out of place and you can’t see. They may work better as a temporary privacy curtain, but they’re not the best option if you’re looking for heat reduction.

Good, and they provide more privacy and shade than other options, but annoying to put up.
These sun shades are okay. The magnets work well with my metal frame and they cover a good amount of my windows in my car. They provide privacy and shade fairly well. However, I took off a star because of the weird way the magnets are sewn in. I’m unclear why each magnet is in its own little space rather than just along the edge of the material. This makes it so no matter what I do, there’s some sun peaking in through the spacing (or lack of privacy if that’s what you’re looking for). It’s also irritating to put these up since I have to grab each magnet individually. I just think there would be a more effective design to not have these gaps.

Universally sticks to all metal, but thats about it
I got these window shades to help keep the UV damage down to my black leather inteiror in my 2017 Nissan Rogue SL, and the description sounded like these would also help keep the vehicle cooler. We’ll, I’m not sure where they intended these to be used when writing the description, but definitely not in the Florida summer!Don’t drive with these on, its absurd for the manufacturer to claim these to be used for that. Besides the fact that most drivers won’t be able to see their entire side mirrors, most areas/ states have laws prohibiting blocking a driver’s view or stopping police from getting a visual on the driver. You’re probably asking to be pulled over if you drive with these on your front windows. These shades do block quite a bit of light on the areas they do cover, but to do this completely you need to affix the magnets to the top of the door where the weather seal hits when closed. Nope, I’m not going to mess those up to put these up like that. A bad, smashed weather seal LEAKS. Again, I’m in Florida, so a leaky car isn’t an option with the amount of rain we get. These are not weighted on the bottom, so even the lightest of a breeze from the AC sends them flapping around. They do not block any light from hitting your door panel. The material feels very cheap and thin, like the outer layer of a windbreaker, not what is shown in the photos which appears more like a heavier fabric. There is also nothing reflecting the heat back, so they do not keep the car any cooler than without them. Yes, they block light but that doesn’t do anything for heat.I’ll give them 2 stars because they DO block some light.

Mostly great. Continue reading to see why
Let me start by saying I really like this concept. We often camp in our vehicle (Yukon XL) and have tried numerous curtain options. This concept by far is great because it stays in place yet gets out of the way with the door when it opens. This prevents you from wrestling a hanging curtain when trying to get in and out. They are very solid dark so it doesn’t allow people to see in and blocks a good amount of light. The carrying case is great and they fold down extremely small. Which when camping in a vehicle space saving is #1 & this does great on that. A couple of not so amazing things that I observed from past experience are, that they’re a tad small for both my Yukon and my Lexus RX350 windows. The fronts do not block the mirror area which is nice for you to see out to the mirrors, but if you’re camping and going to be changing potentially you’re going to want complete coverage. The bottoms do also hang out a tad from the window allowing light or exposure so maybe rigging something up for that would be nice. You could hook a suction cup yourself and that could probably do the trick. Other than that these are great.
