i did NOT buy this for my car…I’m sure it would have worked well there. I put an adapter on it to plug into a wall outlet and stuck them to the back of TV, laptop, camera monitor, tablet…no longer need to even switch on the overhead light to see in my room at night…these are some of the best led light i have used…would definitely recommend to any one who wants to light up a room or just have soft glowing light adding to atmosphere. (they do the blink light thing too with music…in my set up they do it with television also)…these were posted 4.99 when i bought them….took a chance….glad i did….review posted months later…come on you blow 5 bucks on stupid stuff any way…this one you really do get value for your money…they do not stick well a 2nd time..a little tape may be involved, make sure you got them where ya want them first time around….that being said there is plenty of dead space on the ends of the light strips to tape it without blocking the lights.

Good product for the price would like it to be a little brighter with the color, but it’s subtle enough that you can have it on at night without it being distracting mine stays permanently on red because of my interior

Nice item but the remote is very delicate.Lights are very bright and do what it says.Wiring was simple to do .I would recommend beefing up the remote if possible.

I chose the USB option with the remote and no app. It works fine for now. It’s not like my old one, but it’ll do. The lights seem bright enough and they seem to dance to my music. It’s hard to tell. I secured the cords with adhesive clips so they wouldn’t be in the way, and hopefully, the adhesives will last longer. Some lights come with screws as well, but these lights only have adhesive.
