Why does the 9007 bulbs have flicker/error issue when light on?

For some 0.01% European vehicles, the computer systems are sensitive to the light bulbs, we can offer you the light bulb decoders/resistors to solve the problem.

Does the fan make noise? Will this affect its use?

No, it won’t have any impact on your driving.

Since high temperatures will reduce performance, the dual-fan cooling system is designed to maintain higher brightness and longer working hours

Brought back the joy to Night Driving – Great product
Thank You Cougar Motors!! I purchased both the low beams and the high beams for my 2017 Toyota Hylander (Highlander). They have restored my ability to drive safely at night. As you age your ability to see at night becomes more difficult. These LED’s are simply amazing. For the most part easy to install. Low Beams took a little work to get in. Space was tight but with a little jiggle, I was able to get them to seat perfectly as shown in the picture above. (Ignore my burned out fog light, that is my next project.) Also, the pic is the low beams. The high beams are even brighter and really light things up!! Due to the small fans my dust shields would not go back into place but they are sending me some new covers. Clearance on the low beam was snug to the top of the headlight assembly. The high beams were a plug and play perfect fit. Wiring hook up was perfect. No flickering at all. I was concerned that on coming cars would be annoyed by the lighting but I just used them on a 500 mile trip all at night and no issues at all. Well design. I will report back on longevity.

90 day review
I wanted to be sure that I’d owned these for awhile, before giving them a thorough review. I bought these to use as Fog lights, and pretty much had to wait until there was actual fog to give them a go.Hands down, these are awesome. Granted their not yellow, but I’m not sure I really “need” yellow to see under a cloud of misty air, hanging low over the road. (I think yellow is more of a Halogen thing.) Sure it looks nice, but I like the fact that these complement my Low Beams in the same color pattern. I would have thought, that over the course of 6 months, the brightness would have dimmed, as I put the original set of H11/H7’s in the car back in September of 2019.They have not. You would never guess, turning on the lights that I put these in 6 months later. I have had no issues, and I have to say, in fairness to Cougar, these make excellent driving lights as well as low beam headlights. Going down the road with these, in just the pitch black of Wisconsin, Upstate Michigan, and other rural areas, I can see those pesky deer so, so very much better, as these illuminate the sides of the roads, where deer are waiting to take you down, and ruin your car.I plan to continue with Cougar Motors for all of my lighting purchases, now that I have found something that works. Stop wasting your money as I did (unless you want to buy mine *wink* *wink*), as 3 and 4 LED pads don’t focus properly in former Halogen headlamps, with non projector housings. These handle very well, and I hope they last a few years.

Bright white light!
Let me preface my review by stating that I am a working mom and have no experience with car repair or maintenance.My coworker installed these lights in his car and recommended this brand of LED to me. After he showed me what an improvement the lights were, I wanted to switch my lights right away. As mentioned, I do not know much about cars and therefore, I needed help determining which lights to purchase I reached out to the manufacturer and they responded immediately with which model would work with my vehicle. I switched the lights out the day after they arrived and am so happy. I did watch a You Tube video to figure out to install the lights and it was very simple. I commute to work very early in the morning and it is dark the majority of the year. These light provide a bright white light are particularly beneficial during a stretch of unlit forested road. It is like I was blind and now I can see. They are amazing. I do have to say that I have yet to drive with them during foggy weather. I am grateful that my colleague mentioned these lights to me and am sorry that I did not know about them sooner. I would recommend them.

Really good for the price, maybe too bright for low beams.
2018 Ford Fiesta ST, USA SpecPROS:- very bright for low beams, maybe a little too bright, luckily my car lights aim fairly downward.- way better visibility on dark roads.- they look pretty sweet with the cool (temp) blue-ish/white light.-there isn’t much glare.-light spread is okay-you can put the left bulb in without removing the entire light housing.- no one’s flashed their lights at me to turn off my “high beams”, which is good cus they’re low beams.- they plug right in.- no light flicker.CONS:- the fan on the light extends fairly far back and is off center so you can’t put the protective rubber light cap on properly, it stays on and seals around most the opening but then just bends over the back of the lightbulb (the fan still spins to keep the light cool).- there is SOME glare.- there is some slight light Cross-hatching above where the beams hit.- you have to remove the entire right side light housing to put in the right bulb due to the coolant tank.- if my car is at a slight incline, I’m always afraid I’m blinding whoever is in front of me.Feel free to ask questions.

Good lightbeam, no flickering, fits well, maybe pricely depending on unknown durability
Seems like a good product. Easy installation on my European zzr1400. Way brighter then the halogen bulbs. I sometimes see the light during daytime. Also can’t notice any flickering. So the only thing is, which I can’t tell at the moment, is the durability. It feels pricely, but with the above in mind maybe it’s fair/reasonable. This also depends on durability.

Worked as advertised. My fears that the daytime running lights might not function, was totally unfounded. Though I have vastly reduced movement because of the pandemic, so it will be difficult to judge accurately, but for whatever it is worth, I have been using these for 5 months and I haven’t had issues with them.
