Hello, just background info, I am an IT Professional for almost 8yrs. This device is super simple and easy to set up. In addition, I own a 2016 BMW 340i with no OEM carplay. My carplay is aftermarket (MMI). Yes, this product works with aftermarket wired carplay.Shipping: Came in a small box with two cables about 2-3inches long. The cables are a USB-A male to USB-A female and USB-C male to USB-A female. With small but detailed instruction WITH troubleshooting procedures should you run into issues.Physcial Product: Less than inch in LxW. Sleek and simple. When plugged in does generate a little bit of heat but nothing too bad as of now. Would recommend placing where it can breathe/Airflow available. A little light indicator shows power on/color changing feature. Not super bright but if you dont like lights then I’d suggest playing with which side its oriented on or using the cable to flip its orientation.Product functionality: The product is great especially for its price. I thought it may not work with my aftermarket Carplay but it did to my surprise. Follow the instructions per the given guide and it is as easy as that. The product is converting wired to wireless so there is a very marginal delay. 1-2.5 seconds when changing songs (No sound degradation though) and I havent experienced delay/degradation with navigation or calls. It connects within about 10-20sec of the vehicle being turned on or just the battery and turns off about 10-30sec (when your car fully powers down). It connects via bluetooth at first then to wireless/wifi, so you may notice in your bluetooth settings it says connected then to disconnected but in the wifi/wireless settings it will pop up as a known network. To disconnect, you will have to do it via the wifi settings on your device, turn the vehicle off, or physcially unplug the adapter. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase and will recommend to buy. I probably will get another one for my girls car too. Only time will tell if it holds up, but atleast initially it was definitely worth the buy!

GET IT!! What you expect is what you get
I had gotten this so i can do apple car play without having to make usage of wires in my car! This device is very sleek in design and size and works like a charm. I am able to mirror all the apps that supports this device on my car screen!It was very easy to set up and use. My phone took a few seconds to connect the first two times using it now it connects in 2 sec or less upon entering the car and turning the car on!GET IT GET IT GET IT! It won’t disappoint! Currently looking for one i can open my Netflix account on using Apple car play! But this device gives exactly what it’s supposed to give! You definitely get the bang for the buck!

Compact, easy to use, and a great value — with one small flaw
This adapter is compact, super easy to set up, and connects quickly every time. It works exactly as described and is a great value for the price.I bought it for my son’s car while he’s in college, and it’s made connecting his iPhone seamless. The only issue is that it connects even when the car isn’t on. If he’s on a phone call walking back from class, it will sometimes grab his Bluetooth connection and drop the call as he gets close to the car.Other than that, it’s a solid product that works reliably and makes going wireless with CarPlay a breeze.

Fast, easy, and a great way to enhance an aging head unit.
I tested several Wireless CarPlay adapters, and this one worked best for us. We’ve installed one in my F250 with Sync 3 and another in a 2020 Toyota Corolla. Both connect quickly and work flawlessly. (The Sync 3 setup is noticeably faster than the Corolla, but I think Ford’s AV system is just better overall.)Sound quality is excellent, as expected—since the signal runs over Wi-Fi rather than Bluetooth—and the touchscreen remains responsive, even compared to a wired connection. Overall, this was a cheap and easy way to extend the life of our head units.

Great little device!
I always had to plug my phone into my 2020 Honda CR-V if I wanted to use Apple Car Play. Last month, I couldn’t get it to work anymore (the phone cable worked everywhere except in my car). I decided to give this dongle a try. Voila! It connected immediately and works like a charm! It uses my phone’s WiFi for navigation, searching for stores or restaurants, sending texts, making or answering phone calls, or anything else I need. Siri is very responsive, so I can concentrate on driving while she does the heavy lifting ;o). I’ve only had it a couple weeks, so I can’t speak on its longevity, but so far, I love it!

Wireless Car Adapter
This wireless car adapter is small, easy to install, and very user-friendly. The compact design doesn’t clutter the dashboard, and setup only took a couple of minutes. The connectivity can be unreliable and sometimes disconnects suddenly, which gets frustrating during longer drives. If the stability for music playback improves, it would be a great little device. As it stands, it’s convenient but could use better consistency.
