This device is exactly what the reviews said it was. It clamps onto my dashboard and it is easy to put my phone in it.

Great Item, Tough to Mount
I’m giving this device a three-star rating mainly because I haven’t been able to find a good place to mount it in my car. The unit itself is very durable and can handle a lot of pressure while you’re trying to get it to attach to different spots on the dashboard. Basically, it doesn’t mount as easily as the video and ads portray. I think some newer model cars with curved dash elements do not receive the mounting brackets well.The cradle holds my iPhone 13 securely (yes, I know—it’s time for an upgrade). If you have a larger phone, it may be a tight fit, but I can’t say for sure. Just check the measurements in the product description to be safe.On the occasions when I have found a workable mounting spot, the bracket stays firmly in place with no wobble at all.Overall, it’s a solid concept and works well once attached. My advice: order it, try it out, and if it doesn’t fit your setup, simply send it back.

Finally – one that works!
After years of breaking vent clip mounts trying to tighten them sufficiently to hold the phone; or having my windshield suction mount and phone go careening into the foot well during a sharp turn, I’ve finally found a sensible, easy, reusable solution to the vehicular phone mount conundrum. You just clip this on anywhere really. For me, the curved dash above my control panel in my Ram 1500 Rebel is perfect. It holds snuggly, grips the phone firmly, and easily tilts turns and pivots for easy angling. A nice feature, too, is that the mount folds down flat when not in use.Pro tip: it’s much easer to place your phone in the spring loaded clamp if you turn the mount landscape to dock or undock the phone. Even if you intend to use a portrait orientation, first dock the phone landscape and then turn it to portrait. This allows you set the bottom edge of the phone in the lower brackets, then squeeze the two spring loaded levers while pressing the top edge of the phone back under the upper brackets. Let gravity be your friend here 🙂

This is a solid purchase.
The springs are really tight so it holds good. The problem is finding someplace to attach it. It’s good quality and the phone goes in and out real good. The clamp is strong.
