Fantastic
I honestly didn’t expect to love this as much as I do, but this 2026 Windshield Sun Shade Umbrella is a game changer. Living in Florida, my car turns into an oven, especially during mid-day errands. Since using this, the difference in temperature when I get back in is noticeable right away.I love the umbrella-style design. it’s so much easier than wrestling with those traditional fold-up shades. It opens and closes in seconds, and I can tuck it right into the door pocket when I’m not using it. The foldable design makes it super convenient and not bulky at all.It fits my windshield really well and covers edge to edge. The material feels sturdy and high quality, not flimsy. This is so practical
This fit perfect for my 2017 Ford Explorer. The umbrella style helps reach the corners. Since it’s a big car, with others I had to stretch and reach to fix the passenger side. This is so practical. I close it and it fits in my backseat pocket. Ive had it since 2022 and it’s still very good. So Durable. I will buy again once I need to.

Gets the job done
So far so good. I’ve had this for almost a month. It works just fine and fits my windshield well. I do have to use the sun visors to keep the corners in place and it does feel a bit flimsy but so far it hasn’t broken and the umbrella mechanism makes it quick, easy and convenient to put up.

Convenient Storage, But Not the Most Durable
I bought the Car Windshield Sun Shade Umbrella hoping it would be a neat solution to the usual bulkiness of traditional sunshades, and in terms of storage, it definitely delivers. It’s compact and folds up like an umbrella, making it super easy to tuck away in the side compartment or under a seat when not in use.However, ease of storage is about where the perks end. While the initial setup isn’t too complicated, the umbrella mechanism isn’t as durable as I’d hoped. After about five uses, the arms of the umbrella started to bend slightly, which means it no longer fits snugly against the entire windshield. This kind of defeats its purpose since any gaps allow sunlight to sneak through, heating up the car interior more than I’d like.I still use it because it provides partial shade and is better than nothing, but once it’s worn out, I’m planning to switch back to a traditional windshield cover. Those might be a bit bulkier, but they tend to hold up better over time and provide complete coverage.For anyone considering this product, it’s a decent option if you prioritize storage space and convenience over longevity and robust performance.

COOL RIDE
This shade umbrella fits the entire windshield, and the first thing that I noticed after entering the vehicle is that the steering wheel was not scorching hot, and the temperature inside of the car was bearable. Furthermore, the umbrella stays in place, and is easy to fold up, and the material it’s made of is good quality unlike the first on that I purchased from a different company.

A little difficult to open but blocks sun
This is my first umbrella type sun shield. My old aluminum z-fold crumbled into whitish powder and others I had weren’t tall enough to stay under the visors. This is clunky to open as the handle wiggles, I guess to get it out of the way. I find it difficult. The whole mechanism is made of hard plastic so I expect with the intense heat inside a car, it will shatter in a few years. In the meantime, however, it does completely block light out of the front windshield. I have a Subaru sedan, 2013. The umbrella is too big by about 4 inches on the top and sides. However, it is flappy enough to jam that part under the visors and it stays in place. It’s pretty easy to collapse, like an umbrella. I’ve only had it a few weeks.with that in mind, I recommend it if your old shields collapsed into the front seat while you were away. There is a slot cut into the umbrella for your rear view mirror. If you have a handicap card or anything big hanging there, it doesn’t fit and gets knocked off.
