Perfect Car Mount that will hold Larger Phones

Great so far!
We’ve purchased 4 of these, two for cars and two for boats. We live in SWFL, and our summers are surface-of-the-sun hot, so the adhesives alone don’t tend to last long. I’m surprised to see that both boat ones are still attached and work fine after a full summer in the elements, and one of the car ones. The other has yet to be exposed to a 150* interior, but based on the others I’m hopeful. Nice that they adjust to all phone sizes, are designed to leave room to plug your phone in while in use, and are easy to install. Worth it!

Adhesive suction cup not intended for removal. Phone mount fits Garmin suction mount.
The suction cup has adhesive on it, so it’s not intended to be removed. I guess that’s fine if you never want to remove or reposition it. I assumed it was like the suction cup on my Garmin GPS window mount where you moisten the rubber, position on glass, and engage the suction lever. That’s what I wanted and was expecting. But I discovered that my spare Garmin mount for glass, fit this phone holder, so I decided to keep it. Also know that the vent mount works well, but the back of the mount should span multiple louvers, and not overlap the edge of dash. In my case, the dash protruded slightly more than the louver, so when I tightened it down, it broke the louver pivot.

With a mount base, this is a good phone mount
In all fairness, I’ve only been using this for about a day and a half but I remember questioning if I should buy it because of all the negative reviews I saw on here. They were saying that the mount didn’t even stay attached to the dash… USE A MOUNT BASE. (I just bought a pack of 3 for $7.50. I agree that this mount should come with a base but sadly it doesn’t BUT, the mount isn’t going to stick to your dashboard very well. The slick smooth surface that a mount base has will give the suction cup the best possibility of staying put. Personally, I think this mount is very well made and very sturdy. The phone in my picture has a 6.7 inch display and the mount has plenty more room to fit larger phones.

Well worth the $10 I spent. Outperforms the last holder I had and 1/3 of the price of the last one. Very solid when attached to the windshield, no vibration (so far).

This Romuto phone holder sticks great and has stayed in place well for me, which is a big plus. The quick release feature is also really handy and makes it easy to grab my phone and go without messing around.My only small complaint is that I wish it held my phone a little tighter, but it still does the job and works well enough for everyday use. Overall, it’s a solid phone mount with strong suction and good convenience.
