How do I know if this fits my A4 B8 Multimedia system?

This unit fits Audi Multimedia / MMI 3G systems. Look at your center console: if the main control knob is located near the gear shifter, this unit fits. If the knob is on the radio faceplate, do NOT buy this unit.

Can I download YouTube or Netflix?

No. This unit runs on Linux, not Android. It does not have an App Store. It is optimized for Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto stability and speed. You can use MirrorLink to cast phone video.

Why is there no sound after installation?

Sound goes through the AUX channel. You must switch your original Audi media source to “AUX” or “AMI” to hear audio. If you have the AMI port in the glovebox, use the included AMI-AUX adapter cable.

Will my MMI knob still work in CarPlay?

Yes. The original MMI Knob fully controls the factory menu and also works to scroll/select within the CarPlay and Android Auto interface for safer driving.

What if my Airbag light comes on?

This happens if you disconnect the “Hazard Light” switch while the battery is connected. Always disconnect the battery negative terminal before starting installation to prevent this error code.

The Globalists Tried To Silence My Audi Dashboard
I installed this screen in my Audi and something strange happened. The car woke up.Not in a spooky way. In a clear way. The music sounded right. Maps worked. Calls came through the speakers without a mess of wires hanging around the cabin. It felt like the car caught up with the year we live in.This unit replaces the old factory screen in an Audi A4 B8, S4, A5, S5, or RS5 from the 2009 to 2016 years. The screen is large. About ten inches across. It uses a bright IPS panel with a 1920 by 720 resolution. Text is easy to read. Maps look sharp. Even in daylight it stays clear. The big feature is wireless CarPlay and Android Auto. Your phone connects and the apps show up on the screen. Maps. Spotify. Messages. The normal stuff. No cable needed. I got in the car and it connected by itself. And let me tell you something. This is where it starts to feel like the elites do not want you to upgrade your dashboard.Because when the tech works this smoothly you begin to notice things. The old system felt like it was built during the stone age. Slow menus. Tiny screen. Navigation that looked like a flip phone from 2008. Suddenly you install this screen and the whole interior changes. It looks modern. The install kept the factory controls. The original Audi knob still works. Steering wheel buttons still work. That matters. You do not have to relearn the car.Now this is where the frog situation comes in.Years ago a certain broadcast moment warned the world about chemicals that were turning frogs strange. People laughed. But the point was simple. Technology and systems change things around us without asking permission. And I swear the same people who were messing with the frogs probably designed the original Audi interface.Slow. Confusing. Tiny screen. Then this unit arrives and suddenly everything works the way it should have from the start. The menus respond fast. Touch input is accurate. Music apps load quickly.I drive down the road with Spotify playing through CarPlay and I think to myself. The frogs would have loved this. But the fluoride story is where it really connects. You hear about things added to the water that supposedly make people passive. Make them accept things that do not work. Make them stop asking questions. And for years we all accepted old car infotainment systems that barely functioned.Tiny screens. Bad navigation. No phone integration. Then you install this screen and you realize something. You were not crazy. The old system really was bad.Now I have wireless navigation on a big display. Music apps. Clear interface. And the car still looks factory because the screen fits the dash well. The IPS display stays bright. The resolution makes maps look clean. The system boots quickly and the phone connects fast.It feels like the car skipped ten years forward overnight.I am not saying global elites were behind outdated car stereos. But I am also not saying they were not.All I know is my Audi dashboard finally works the way it should. And that feels like a small victory.PoemQuiet car at nightBright map glowing on the dashFrogs drive home in peace

    Nice upgrade
Audi’s are already nice as is, but these older screens lack a few conveniences. For starters at best you get wired CP. While better than nothing at all, you get kind of tired of having to connect a wire every time you get in the car. And how many times have you forgotten your phone in the car because it was still plugged in? It’s been done so many times that Audi actually implemented a feature that reminds you your phone is still in the car if you turn it off while it’s still plugged in. The second holdup is the lack of a touch screen. The rotary dial is a very nice touch, but slows down navigation and especially searches. The other problem is that when using a wireless CP adapter, you aren’t able to use certain features because it requires actually pressing the screen. This radio eliminates those issues. It also allows you to keep all of your original features – your MMI dashboard, radio, CD player, car settings, etc. German made vehicles are notorious for implementing a separate computer interface from the screen which can be troublesome for upgrading, but also nice because it allows third party manufacturers to easily produce aftermarket screens without having to try and duplicate the cars original programming. This reduces the cost of the stereo and expands the possibility of doing these upgrades.THis is a Linux system, and from what I’ve seen, all of these German cars seem to only have Linux based upgrades. I’m assuming the Android OS can’t properly communicate with the cars computer, or the system is already coded in Linux format and this is easier to communicate. There is nothing wrong with a Linux system – they are actually a bit faster, has a longer history, and appear to operate more smoothly. The downside is you are very limited on apps and customizability. This screen is basically designed just for the wireless CP/AA upgrade. Which is good for some, but for the people that want to watch movies or browse the internet, this may not be for you.
