Doesn’t fit all vents, phone grips may be a problem
I would give it five stars but it only fit my side defrost vents in my 2017 Ford Edge. Installation is limited. The vent baffles on my Edge are too big for the mounting mechanism to be able to get around it and fully clamp down except on my side defrost vents. This means if I am on a long trip and want my phone plugged into my charger, I need to string the charging cord across the dash.Issue #2 is if you have a grip on the back of your phone or phone case it makes the phone stick out too far and the phone cannot be held in place. I had to remove my phone from my phone case every time I got in and out of the car.Things I liked: once you find a vent it fits on it is secure as well as the part that holds the phone.I used it on a 450 mile round trip and my phone did stay secure.Material seems to be of good quality, not sure how it will hold up after a season of very hot sun exposure as I have only had it four days.

Well…It started off great…very good product. One small glitch when the plastic screw on the back cracked. (Things happen :o) That said, customer service was great and immediately sent out the replacement. Thank you. I really like this holder, much better than anything I’ve used in the past. Firm, stays in place, easy to add my phone and remove and “just works with no fuss”. I’d recommend this product.

Great quality product, except for the vent clip, which broke after the 4th or 5th time I used it. I expected more for the price.

Have one installed in my. car and a second in my pickup truck both work nicely on the vents the one in the car has came loose once but may not have been tightened sufficiently. Would recommend these for vent installations first mount that I have found that holds a large phone such as the I Phone 8 and newer. Has a good support at bottom to keep the phone from sliding down and releases easily with the push of a button.

I purchased this for my Iphone 11 Pro Max for my 2015 Honda Civic. The plastic piece in the middle part of my vent made it a bit tricky to get the holder attached as it is wide and sticks out far. Once it is attached its very sturdy, and I used it for a long road trip no problem. Easy to get phone in and out of the holder. No complaints so far..UPDATE: This phone holder broke the vent on my Honda Civic and my husbands truck. The clip broke from barely touching it getting my phone out of the holder after I pressed the release button. You have to be extremely careful removing it. If you accidentally bump it you may break your ac vent or the phone clip on piece itself. Buyer Beware!
