Some view obstruction.
That is the problem with anything you mount to the dash or the windshield. There will always be some level of view obstruction. This is no different. It mounts easily and securely and the sticky pad on the bottom does a real good job of holding the mount and the phone to any dash. It’s not a permanent mounting. When you want to remove it for another vehicle, just dump the vacuum and lift it off. You’d never know it was there. It has two pivot points to give you some ability to manipulate it for a safe and useful position. Now, while the ad says it’s for a Tesla, it’s really suitable for any vehicle. I tested it in my Ford truck in a couple locations and it was secure and fairly easy to get it into a position where the screen could be seen and it was mostly out of the way. The magnet to hold the phone could pick up a car. Very strong. You really have to put some effort into taking your phone off the mount. No way a bump will cause you to lose either your phone or the mount. A pretty good value for a good quality phone holder.

Really useful phone holder
I really like these suction MagSafe phone holders because you can use them in your car or anywhere else in your house. I use them on my bathroom mirror to hold my phone. You can also use this in the shower. The arm is really stiff and strong and stays in place. The magnet itself is really strong and the phone will not fall off. The suction mechanism also holds a strong contact with any smooth surface. The holder comes with a plate to put on your car dashboard if it’s not smooth and a ring to go on the back of your phone or case if it does not have MagSafe. This is good value for the money and the white color is nice.
